This thread inspired me to start this thread.

I've been a part of CM/CS since its fledgling days. I watched it grow and blossom and I've witnessed it struggle and pull through some really tough times. I met my former partner of four years on here who is still one of my best friends and I met the love of my life and the man I went on to marry on here. Four years ago a group of us from here met up in a pub in London and from that social gathering, I have gone on to form some very firm friendships.

I have done my share of flouncing off this site in a huff; not because there was anything wrong with the site but because I can behave like a diva sometimes but the site, just like an old friend, has always drawn me back.

What is it you love about CS? How if anything, has CS changed your life?

One would have to wonder: "Why is that?"

I met my partner on here. Were it not for CS, we would not have met each other. So, yeah, CS has changed my life.

Sorry littleladybug, just saw this :)

I don't know about you but I often wonder where I would be now if I hadn't joined and become a regular visitor here. I certainly wouldn't of met Steve.

I admit I didn't sell the dryer that I couldn't use, but I did trade it for a snow blower. First time in EVER I am almost wishing for snow so I can play with it.

Actually, Maria, I've laughed about this with my man more than once. I like reading profiles. Seriously. So much so that I literally have no parameters set, other than the person being online. I came across his profile-- or actually, more to the point, his photo, and couldn't help but respond to it. So started our relationship.

Honestly, I can't imagine that this would have happened on any other site but this one. For that reason alone, I can't say a bad word about CS.

Hehe! It was very similar for me. I wouldn't normally contact anyone I didn't know but this guy was hot and he had a nice boat so I dropped him a line and said, "Nice boat!". Little did I know those words were to bring about something that would change my life forever.

Prior to FL I was a member of a popular English site (that is no more) and yet it was here that I managed to find a diamond in the rough. Like you, I can't fault this site because of what its personally brought me. I can moan about what goes on here but not the site itself.

With my man it was "nice llamas".

And I, as you, never really contacted anyone-- but DANG I couldn't resist commenting on the llama, with someone who was so close to me.

I view CS as I view any way to possibly meet someone- it's just *one* way. Cast the net wide, and surely the prize winning fish will get ensnared....eventually.

ETA: I never really expected him to respond when I made the comment about his llama-- was something like "I never knew about the wild llamas here in Washington". The fact that he did showed me his sense of humor, and the rest, as they say, is history.

This site has had little effect on my life...but there were opportunities if I had really wanted to pursue desires. But I am only here for entertainment and lets face it, as most men, kink...or at least that's what I signed up for.

I have been entertained however and I have found interesting conversations, debates, and of course interesting minds here... And if I remember correctly I believe you and I have had a few debates and I found you worthy as a friend and adversary.

Hope you stay for another 8 years.

Butch

I met my partner here. After 3 years of "dating" we recently moved in together. When I opened the account I never dreamed that I would actually find what I was looking for. On another plus side I've met and become friends with numerous people from CS.

I haven't been on here as long as most.

I met one potential partner through here. While it didn't work out between us, it led to fun times that never would've happened had I not joined and stayed with the site.

I've met good friends and interesting people, and learned quite a bit. They may not know it, but there are several lovely ladies here whose knowledge and experience made F/m dynamics more palatable to me just by helping to deepen my understanding of them. I've learned many things about myself in my stay here.

I've been on here about 6 years. I've met some really great people and have many more friends than I had before I joined. I've laughed and cried and shared and kept secrets. And wouldn't change that for anything.
