Bear in mind while reading the article, Bergdahl is facing court martial for desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. He might be called a traitor, and rightfully so The article, courtesy of Wikileaks and the Associated Press - 5 Taliban figures exchanged for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl What a deal!!! Five notorious and dangerous terrorist masterminds for one deserter. Wow... With this kind of success I cant WAIT to see how Obamas deal with Iran turns out... [sm=doh.gif]

We were trying to give them away for free before, since they are not necessarily who that article says they are exactly, we haven't all that much proof. Maybe yahoo does, but we havent seen it, and the fact that they were tortured heavily makes their trials nearly impossible.

There is a simple solution to the problem of the military prison at Guantanamo Bay... adjudicate the criminals. They are criminals not prisoners of war and should be dealt with as we would any criminals in our justice system. If we do not have the evidence to prosecute release them...simple. If they can be justly tried then incarcerate or execute them...simple. This way there will be no..." prisoners of so called war" to exchange. Butch

Two surely you realize that the trials would not feature a denying their "crimes" but of justifying them. They would justify every atrocity committed with how evil the US is. It would be nothing but a propaganda show.
