So if I am reading it right, this is something that has to be taken on a long term basis, rather than as needed. Associated risks include fainting and accidents (there is no elaboration on what kind of accidents they are referring to, though elsewhere in the article it does mention driving), especially when used with alcohol. All for 0.5 or 1.0 more satisfying sexual events a month.

Yeah, I think I'm good. But thanks anyway. [;)]

I feel pretty much the same, too many chances it could interfere with what I DO need medication for, at this stage in my life, 1.5 extra pleasurable experiences isnt gonna be worth the risk(damn im getting old...) and many women have no clue what it would do to their brain chemistry. ugh, hormones and dopamine and seratonin etc?...my blood pressure crashes low already and let me tell you fainting and vertigo are highly unpleasant when unexpected.
I know it could help a lot of women, maybe, but for me, id want a lot more info, a lot less controversy over the effects. before even thinking about talking to my doc about it.
Luckily my libido is fine right now, I can dream about being hot n horny for 18 hours a day, but reality is id be frayed at the edges half way thru the day(if not sooner)
I can understand why women would want to try it, but this ol girl wont be one of them

No need for a boost in libido over here either. There are women who are less than orgasmic, and if engorging blood vessals (like Viagra does for men) can help them become more orgasmic and multi-orgasmic, or ameliorate a pre-existing condition which does require treatment, then there might be significant benefits which could outweigh the risk of adverse side effects. This would depend on the woman and whether she would even be eligible to take medication that won't counteract those she may already be taking.

Not that long ago, I learned a sub around five years over my age limit was taking Cialis daily for erection maintenance. Otherwise, he'd stay flaccid. If he had to be treated for a heart condition (not certain about high-blood pressure and/or high cholesterol medication) and had to stop abruptly, then we'd both be in a predicament because getting supplemental wood is not an option I would choose or ever want to pursue.

Whenever possible, I prefer to go the natural route. [sm=cool.gif]

For me libido is entirely dependent on being with the right man. I wouldn't want a pill to change that.

Not interested in it. I take enough pills as it is for my bipolar, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, IBS, and insomnia. That is not counting my fibromyalgia (usually some kind of pain killers).
