OK I have to add this just for the sheer fun of it....

To those who will watch it, enjoy.
Its an hour long but its Bill Maher trying to explain to Oxford University(in the UK) students about american politics/life from a libertarian liberal, oh hell , sorry....his own take on it. I dont agree with maher on a number of topics, never will but, this was interesting.

Lucy, really? We have to watch an hour of this in order to comment?

Mind you, after just the first few minutes: 'No, you're being interviewed in Britain. Don't expect the usual arselicking that celebs get in the USA.'

Passing thought - I have to say: I didn't realise that Bill was such a shortarse.

Lol nah, where did i say you have to watch to comment???
just recognizing that there will be few who do....watch it...at all.
btw, i liked that his discomfort showed.....big time.

*Every* American - actor, singer, politician especially ... interviewed in Britain is uncomfortable. Unless they're terminally stupid they'll realise they're operating in a different culture and much of what they consider 'ordinary' is *only ordinary in the USA*.
