Hi folks, Some of you may remember Sailing Bum. He hasn't been active on the site for about a year because he's been fighting leukemia. He lost that fight and died this weekend, June 21. Personally, I think he decided it was the longest day of the year, so it was the best day to sail on out. May he have peace. Best wishes to you all, Sunshine

Many of us here continually fight illness....I remember this but I do not remember him. But my memory is pants on a good day may he sail the ether forever

So sorry to hear of Sailing Bum passing away. He always seemed like a nice guy when I had occasion to "read" him. My sympathies to his family and friends. RIP Sir
