Good morning all,
So I have a question. What do you find interesting in a partner/man/sub?

Let me give a little context.
I'm recently out of an LTR and am getting readjusted to single life again. At the moment I'm not really looking to date but I suspect I will be in 6 months or so. In that vein I'm my best to be in good shape (mentally & physically) for when I'm looking to date again.

We all know that someone in good mental and physical health will be attractive, what I'm wondering is what are some key things that make a guy interesting to you?

You will probably get some overlap, but mostly as many different answers as you get people answering.

I like (in no particular order):

- Drive
- Desire
- Honesty
- Consistency
- Confidence
- Sexual Aggression
- Good Looks
- Humor
- Charm

How these things mix for me is complex. I like submissive males who know exactly who they are, and what they like, both sexually and non. I prefer men who try to get to know me before trying to tell me everything about themselves (especially fetishes). I like attention to detail (99% of men miss important details about contacting me.

I like men who decide what they want and make it clear, without being pushy.

I like men who understand the concept of win big or lose spectacularly.

I love men who smile.

I love men who do things that aren't work and kink. Who strive to expand their boundaries. Learn to cook. Learn to massage. Learn to dance, or give pedicures. Learn a foreign language. Learn to be better at sex.

I like men who suit my lifestyle.

But that's me... and who I want may not matter, because I may be nothing like what you are looking for. *smiles*

My answer!

- Interesting myriad of hobbies. Not necessarily matching my own, but it helps.
- An eager, curious mind ever looking to further what knowledge has already been gained.
- Active, even if not necessarily in shape.
- Charm/self-confidence.
- Eloquence, in the spoken and written word.

Naturally there are other qualities, but those are the main ones.

When I was looking, I was looking for a submissive male but instead I found a dominant male. It didn't really matter because he had so many good attributes.

Is socially bright and not shy to have an opinion.
who can apologise,
Doesn't do jealousy,
Is not afraid of a challenge...in fact embraces challenge,
Is happy in his own skin and has a positive outlook on life
Knows how to enjoy himself and have a good laugh,
Is good looking, though I tend to find men who smile and laugh a lot good looking people.
Had good moral values and compassion for others,
Is sexually adventurous,
Is a considerate lover,
Is open to or curious about poly relationships
is happy to embrace our differences in kink and work out (along with me) the best solutions.
isn't needy,
Who doesn't talk about his past in a 'Woe is me' sort of way,
Is fit and active and doesn't want to stuff his face with junk...Its ok on occasion but he's not a glutton.
Preferably has similar hobbies to my own or is happy to give my hobbies a go, as I am with his,
Isn't at all racist.
