Dear Ones,

Some years ago, a National Geographic photographer shared a page of his calendar with me to illustrate the complexities of being on assignment. One day was singled our for simple but special treatment: "Home!

"

I now understand, in a way I never did before, why that was a red-letter day for him. I feel the same way about July 7th. Yes, I am finally, wearily, gratefully home.
