Real0ne -> Court orders defendant to commit perjury (7/20/2015 1:59:58 AM)

According to Solutions Institute,

“Doreen and Pete have been using this [Cracking The Code] method to avoid paying income tax since the release of Pete’s book, and it’s put them at odds with the IRS.

In the recent case, Doreen was given a new set of returns filled out by the federal government and ordered to sign them as being her own testimony. Because they were not her own words, she refused, and has now been sentenced to prison.”

Mrs. Hendrickson complains that she could not, in good conscience, sign an income tax return under penalties of perjury if she didn’t believe the words on the document to be true. She therefore argues that her prosecution violates her right to free speech and the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

According to the Solutions Institute,

“Whether or not this method of avoiding taxation is valid, the case highlights a fundamental issue of free speech in today’s America. While the First Amendment supposedly validates one’s right to say, or not say, what they want, this case draws that principle into question.

Doreen was not charged with tax evasion or falsifying returns; she was only charged with contempt of court for refusing to sign a document swearing something she doesn’t believe to be true.”

This is not a free speech nor 1st amendment argument to be made here. You can make the argument, but the court will laugh in your face!

The couple your 'championing' have 'just a few problems' with the law.

They are more like 'sovereign citizens' rather than 'honest and law abiding citizens'. The whole 'placing a bomb with the tax return' scores the couple....ZERO.....points in my book for being taken seriously (their argument and ideals). That it injured a postal worker when it blew up. Those two got everything coming to them for being stupid and foolish. There is no 'cracking the code'. These two broke federal laws!

Funny how your 'publication' doesn't present the facts and truthful evidence, eh? Likewise, why did you fail to research this issue before making it a thread topic? Do you not know how to effectively research things? Took me like thirty seconds to get information on Eric and Doreen Hendrickson. Not only of them, but the story of events this 'publication' of yours tries to hide.

I think it is closer to a fifth amendment than first amendment case, but regardless I think the judge should have been sanctioned.
