True. I probably should have made it more clear that I was talking about his dad blaming stuff on Carter, though.

Still waiting for a citation. Will one be forthcoming - for either Bush?

Because, in point of fact, both bushes were pretty respectable.

See, here's what a cite looks like. Here's Bret Hume, on a major news channel, saying that very little of that occurred. And its even on a leftie website. http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2009/04/12/37480/bush-blame-clinton-911/

And here's a similar quote from CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/04/politics/bush-president-relationships/

So again, lets have a quote shall we, from the last year of Bush's administration - where he blamed it on Carter. Surely you can provide one quote to back up your wisdom.

As I side note: I don't believe you were talking about Bush Sr. I think you looked for quotes and failed. See because the post you responded to was after 8 years of obama, still blaiming things on Bush.

And your response was - well why not, bush blamed things on carter throughout his presidency. The point being that 7+ years after obama was elected democrats are still blaming bush. Climate change - bush. Afghanistan - bush. Libya - bush. Ferguson - Bush.

The elder bush didn't serve 8 years. But whatever..

Bush Prime was still blaming Carter after 12 years of Republican borrowey-spendy economics. Is the link not clear?

I'm still waiting for you to provide evidence of your claim. Will that be forthcoming? Let alone proving that it was a relatively common policy.

How about a contest. I'll provide three links of obama blaming bush for every link you provide of bush blaming carter. Because your point is frankly a lie. Remember - last year of his presidency only. Go!

Nope, I'm just proving you're a liar. And hammering it home by your inability to provide even one quote.
Not only a liar, but an incompetent one too lazy to even use google to make even a semblance of proving that the tripe that comes from your mouth has any semblance of reality.

Feel free to post nothing. The point is already made.

Believing preposterous bullshit is clearly your MO, so whatever. I'm saving you the trouble of inventing three quotes for my every one, so I'd have thought you'd be happy not having to bother with that.

Officials: Scant evidence that Clinton had malicious intent in handling of emails (from yesterday)

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/federal-prosecutors-in-virginia-assisting-in-clinton-email-probe/2016/05/05/f0277faa-12f0-11e6-81b4-581a5c4c42df_story.html?postshare=6211462486857748&tid=ss_tw

Prosecutors and FBI agents investigating Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server have so far found scant evidence that the leading Democratic presidential candidate intended to break classification rules, though they are still probing the case aggressively with an eye on interviewing Clinton herself, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

FBI agents on the case have been joined by federal prosecutors from the same office that successfully prosecuted 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui — and who would handle any Edward Snowden case, should he ever return to the country, according to the U.S. officials familiar with the matter. And in recent weeks, prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Virginia and their FBI counterparts have been interviewing top Clinton aides as they seek to bring the case to a close.

CNN reported Thursday that longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin was among those interviewed. A lawyer for Abedin did not immediately return an email seeking comment.

The involvement of the U.S. Attorney’s Office is not indicative that charges are imminent or even likely. One official said prosecutors are wrestling with the question of whether Clinton intended to violate the rules, and so far, the evidence seemed to indicate she did not.

In the US the mere fact that you didn't mean for the classified information to fall in the wrong hands is not a legitimate defense for not properly protecting it. It is like if you leave a gun on the shelf in a grocery store, just because you didn't mean for someone to get hurt does not absolve you of criminal negligence.

OHHHH.... I guess that explains the lack of prosecution of gop parties when there were no signs of WMD's in Iraq..... they didn't mean to start a war in a region we're still mired in.

so by ur logic: its alright to say there's a (WMD) gun on the (Iraq) shelf, and just because you didn't mean to be wrong... its alright for thousands to die and absolves you of criminal negligence because you call it a war?

(gee.....I wonder who said "mission accomplished". opps!....he didn't mean to be wrong then too.)

That equates to something completly different, if the 6 best specialitst (doctors) in the world tell you that you have a particualar problem and they turn out to be wrong you are not lying if you tell people you have what the doctors said you do.

And 6 of the best doctors in the world have never said there were WMDs in Iraq, nor did they advise an invasion.

So, you should have taken the doctors advice way back then.

Ah, the news today.

Bryan Paglianu's emails mysteriously wiped from state department servers and backups. ...

you beat me to it! I saw judge Napolitano on the Kelly file last night talking about that. he also quipped about how maybe the Russian intelligence could get together with others in the govt and decide whether or not they wanted to help us out in this regard.

heres that whole piece: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA3B0KtItls

"There's a debate going on in the Kremlin, between the foreign ministry and the intelligence services, about whether or not they should release the 20,000 of Mrs. Clinton's emails that they have hacked into and received and stored."

and this:

"State Department says it can't find emails from Clinton IT specialist"

(maybe the nutsuckers stole them?)

quote:

The State Department told the Republican National Committee that it could not find any emails to or from Hillary Clinton's former IT specialist, who managed her private email server before going on to work for the agency, according to a court filing made public Monday.

The government's revelation in U.S. District Court in Washington came in answer to a lawsuit by the Republican National Committee. The RNC had sued over its public records request for all work-related emails sent to or received by Clinton's former aide, Bryan Pagliano, between 2009 and 2013, the years of Clinton's tenure as America's top diplomat. The lawsuit also pressed for other State Department records from the Clinton era.

The RNC's filing said lawyers for the agency had informed them in discussions that "the State Department has represented that no responsive records exist" for any Pagliano emails. Pagliano was hired at the agency after reportedly setting up Clinton's server in 2009, but the lack of any official State Department emails raises the question whether he limited his email traffic using a private account, much like Clinton did during her four years as secretary, or whether his government emails were deleted...

Raj Shah, the RNC spokesman, added, "It's hard to believe that an IT staffer who set up Hillary Clinton's reckless email server never sent or received a single work-related email in the four years he worked at the State Department." Clinton's campaign officials declined to comment in response to questions from The Associated Press.

So, the news today is as it has been for 25 years and in this case the last year. Nothing. After 25 years of innuendo and impugnments, nothing. Seems as though that would be another dictionary definition of nutsuckerly ineffectual.

Where's the other half of your demonstration that Obama is wasting more tax money on subsidising recyclable energy than the oil industry?

How do we know emails are missing? Is it like massive voter fraud, by the fact there is no proof?

Are they government emails?

What would the server setter upper be involved in emailing around about foreign policies?

yes, he was a state department employee. All emails are supposed to be archived into a FOIA repository.
And yet - they're not.
