Jesus Bounty, the Ancient Greeks were the forefathers of modern science and philosophy and we're not resorting to the same simple minded and presumptuous claims to convince people that Zeus, Hades and Poseidon rule the sky, earth and underworld. Your failed logic can be applied to any religious belief system, so don't think Christianity is anything special. The Muslims made great advances in mathematics and the Chinese were great engineers, and I don't see them pushing Christianity as the source of their advances.
