I ask because just as I was writing a reply to a post from someone in Germany it was shut down.

It was entirely inoffensive; in fact, if you ever ventured outside the USA you might even find it amusing.

Is there a 'right of appeal' or is this blockage now set in stone forever?

I wasn't aware it was a Moderators job to laugh and disparage other people?

Can we see the guidelines that tell you should do that?

So you and your girlfriend have had your fun. Any post that disrespects site users, kinks, gender or anything else deemed wrong for the site, will be removed. Just as those people stirring things up will.

Oh I know that your girlfriend was only talking about veggies and not being able to cook mixed or switched or gender changed veggies, but that won't fly here. We respect all veggies too.
