It's impossible for me to know the workings of other dominant women's minds.

As for me, I don't enjoy any of that. Maybe a bit of a pubic trim but that's it. Panties and chastity devices do nothing for me.

Not every Domme enjoys that type of play but perhaps you would be better off directly asking her why SHE enjoys it.

Every Domme who requires that kind of protocol will have a different reason for why they engage in it.

I think panties go very well with being spanked by a Mistress. It adds more humiliation to the fact that not only is the sub/slave going to be spanked or have some other form of creating discomfort to the bottom which in itself is anywhere from not being humiliating to a little and all the way up to very humiliating. Sheer panties do not offer much in the way of stopping the pain of the spanking but it seems that the Mistress will often start out spanking with the panties covering the bottom and then when she is ready will lower them from just under the cheeks to down around the ankles. If you check out femdom's spanking males in the vast majority of these films or clips the sub or slave is wearing panties to begin with only to have them pulled down at some point so that the sting is more intense on the bare bottom.

As I mentioned in my response, everyone is different so it's best to ask directly than to assume that it's a "norm" for this type of play. Not everyone who is into spanking for humiliation purposes. Some use to as a type of endorphin release, some use it as a form of behavior modification. Some role-play with it. Others may use it as a form of catharsis for past transgressions. Some may find humiliation in it, hence wanting to wear panties....as I said, every person is different and it's probably best to ask the Domme who is requested it as to why she enjoys it.

In all due respect, those videos are made to be sold, therefore they will be marketed for target demographics. The thing about videos is that they are made in a manner that can be cross sold and promoted. For example, videos where a man is wearing panties during a spanking. They can be cross promoted for discipline AND Humiliation. One demographic will get their rocks off on the panties, the other will from the spanking.

I don't doubt that there is a need for a combination of humiliation and discipline but I believe that every person (Domme and sub) is different with their needs and it's best to go right to the source for info rather than assume that it's a requirement.

Like someone else pointed out, why don't you ask her? She may not be able to articulate exactly why, but IMO more NEW dominant women encounter male subs who are into these things than they themselves are, starting out.

One thing in common among dominants, I have also noticed, is that we see what pushes submissives' buttons, and we are results-oriented.

Me neither, nada, zilch. Those tend to be more of a "guy" thing. So does the shaving/trimming, and getting "forcibly" shaved while handcuffed to ... the bidet. Stuff like that.

As MissKatya noted, there is great importance in asking the Domme in question why these things appeal to her.

That said, I also have to wonder why these issues are red flags in your mind. The whole appeal of the lifestyle (IMHO) is that the Domme expresses what pleases her.

That said, I share your puzzlement over chastity devices, but possibly for a different reason. As best I can tell, chastity devices are for failed relationships. If a sub can't limit himself to cumming when his Mistress gives permission, the entire dynamic is ruined.
