Arguably there are liberal trolls --- but as the blog post below points out, we don't like trolling. We are less tolerant of it.
One of the things that the internet has enabled is the rise of the troll, the person who gains temporary fame by making some outrageous statement that lots of people pounce on in order to denounce it, such as the pastor of a New York City church who called for the stoning of ‘homos’.
Some people are very good at this method of drawing attention to themselves, though it seems to be easier to do if you are someone with hateful conservative politics. Then all you have to do is say something outrageous against the marginalized such as the poor, minorities, women, gays, and the like and not only will the media flock to cover you, you could even increase your support among the base. I try to avoid responding to such obviously trolling items, except on occasions like this where I am analyzing the phenomenon itself.
If you are left-wing or progressive or liberal, it is hard to think of something outrageous to say that would draw media attention to you while at the same time not cause your colleagues on the left to turn on you, while if you are a conservative, especially one who has once been in the public eye, this seems much easier to do.

What we got going here on the CMMB: The hot buttons: THE EPA is out to poison Western States, immigrants (bad), women (close planned parenthood), health care / ACA, ISIS (world is coming to and end), "leftist McCarthysism" (how insane is that?), "Unemployed don't want jobs" (how insane is that?), "Obama Embraces Modern Slavery" (how insane is that?), "whole dead babies," "Only Black Lives Matter" (a deliberate lie if ever there was one -- hyper trolling), "latest IRS scandal" (this is nowhere in the real media -- just another fiction), and "Black Lives Matter is a Terrorist Group."
Mark me down as SICK AND TIRED of this shit.

In fact, just travel around Right Wing Watch and you'll see this all over the place (the stuff cloudboy is explaining). By conservatives and libertarians.
That is because they behave as immature, clueless children. Mentally and emotionally speaking. Physically they are adults. I'm stilling waiting on Mr. Trump to give his nation something substantial as a reason to hire him to the White House. Or any of the GOP/TP candidates. If I asked Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Sanders (or even Vice President Biden) to 'whip up' an immigration plan that works for the nation; it would be done by next week! Or one on infrastructure improvements, education, commerce, etc. The nation keeps experiencing progress when we have Democrats in office. We experience down turns and set backs in freedom when we have Republicans and Tea Partiers. That is because sensible, educated, well informed, and intelligent people whom are mature vote for the Democrats right now. 'Bottom feeding, scum sucking algea eaters' and 'The Low Information Voters' vote Republican (if their are semi-'with it') or Tea Party (if the paranoid schizophrenia is full blown in their minds).
