New slave looking for first master here. I've tried other sites without much luck and I thought I would try asking an actual master "what should I do/show/say to get a master's attention" I've sent msgs outlining what I'm about but I'm not getting responses so all the Masters out there is there a rule of thumb when messaging for the first time? Should I send pictures? Is there a certain way I should word it? Any help would Be appreciated

Your use of terms is confusing. Generally, a Master is male. I suggest you use the term "Domme". You say "I want to serve." Generally, the women here like to know who a man is as a man and a person before they're interested in kink. Add pics to your profile. Let them know you're up for conversation.

thanks for the advice. new to the bdsm world but excited so do i use master or domme if im open to submitting to either sex

Write a paragraph about your personal past; how you were raised, where, talk about inter-familial relationships. Write a paragraph about your professional past/education. Write one about where you are, as a person, now. Write one about where you are in your career/education. Write a paragraph about your personal aspirations, when it comes to relationships; keep it non-kink. Mention the basic dynamic, what you bring to the table, and what kind of dominant to whom you would be able to devote yourself. As a personal note: try to include your "deal breakers" somewhere. It helps to avoid some wasted time. Personally, I smoke cigarettes and am polyamorous and am hugely anti-illegal (and even most legal) drugs. Yep, it will limit your availability/choices but it will ward off *some* of the time-wasters. Michael

Say what you can do for them. Seriously. This is a sales call. Explain what you as an S type can do to make the dominants life better. If they see the writer as an asset rather than a pain in the ass, you'll have a much better chance of getting a response.

Compliment them and state your general intentions up front. Honesty and respectful straightforwardness is highly appreciated. Do have a photo—more than one, preferably. Let the conversation go where the dominant entity wants and be attentive and punctual in answering their questions. Have questions for them, too. Things should progress quite naturally well enough if there is a spark worth nurturing into something more.
