That's the big one isn't it. (Responding as a male sub, feeling that I can at least say something in this matter.) Controlling him: if you don't feel that he obeys you when you're not looking go find another one. It's possible, I report everything I do or don't do to my master to a tee regardless of the consequences. Discipline: beatings work. I can do it myself and it hurts like hell! Takes practice but when Master says: "Third strike! Go get the cane!" I don't feel very comfortable ... In my opinion it is all about knowing what your subbie feels like.
