A quick question, is it acceptable to have a link to your fetlife profile on your Collarspace profile, or is it breaking any Collarspace terms and conditions? I ask as I put a link on once and my profile was mysteriously deleted the next day.

I've asked and been told it's not acceptable. It will be reported and deleted. If you replace it, it will eventually get your account restricted.

It IS acceptable to share it with people you are in communication with, one-on-one.

I have seen people refer to the fact that their profile name here is the same as it is on FL.

Well, you could just as easily say you're Lucille123 on fet. I think it's the link that's prohibited. Not mentioning your fet name.

I have seen links where people promote their blogs.

I wonder if you're aware that, unlike here, you can change your profile name on FL?

That doesn't do her any good if someone already has her username on FL, which appears to be the case.

Posting your fetlife link might be against the rules but I've viewed plenty of fetlife pages after being directed to them.

Perhaps there are other ways in which you have upset the CM gods. You could ask them.

That's a good point. I've had pictures suddenly removed. I've had posts in the forum deleted. I've even had a profile or two disabled from posting on the forums (try to say ANYTHING explicit about Collarspace lack of security, and watch what happens).

However, I have never had a profile deleted.

Of course, this post might get me my first one deleted! ;0

I checked out the TOS immediately after my profile was deleted, I couldn't find anything I'd done wrong. Of course I couldn't contact CS with no profile, and if you make a new profile they won't answer questions about a previous profile. I to have seen lots of profiles with fetlife links.

I've had links to youtube and other (non-kink) sites deleted (from journals) in the past, so I'd say ALL.

No, not all links are prohibited. I've had links in earlier versions of my profile and in my sig line of kink events where I've been teaching. Never had a problem with things like that.

I look at your profile and if I'm still correct about ToS, that should probably be fine. Some folks used to have something like "I'm <insert whatever> on the black and white site". That's always worked.
