What do you hope is the most important lesson you learned AND experience you had during your lifetime?

When all is said and done I hope I learned how to help others before myself and experienced the thrill of going to DisneyWorld

That Jewel (the singer) was right: Kindness is really all that matters.

I want to experience so many things I haven't done yet. My 72 year old dad keeps reminding his daughters (ever since my mom died) that "Time is all you've got, use it well. Use it or lose it". I know he's right so it pays to prioritize.

There are some places I'd like to see on the planet, but the world won't end if I don't see them. I'd like to really love someone with all my heart and know that it is returned, with someone who is really right for me (but the time is not right yet. But that is where my head is at - today, anyway).

To have the required amount of empathy so I haven't hurt too many others in my travels.

That somehow during my stay on this planet, I made another person(s) happy, feel loved, wanted, and important.

That I don't look back and say, "I wish I had done that"...I want to live each day to the fullest, make the best choices possible, and have no regrets.

The most important lesson would be... my self worth.  I want to get to the end and realize that no matter what has happened in my life.. I was strong, loving, and in my own small way, made a difference.

The lesson: Live in the moment. Love with passion. Time passes too quickly.

Experience: The birth of my two boys. Two days I wouldn't trade for anything.

The experience part is easy. Feeling my child kick me for the first time, giving birth to another human .. wow, nothing in the world like it. To create life .. what a rush!

As far as lessons, I hope I haven't learned the most important lesson yet because that means I can still look forward to it.

Probably the most important to date, has been learning to just let some things go. Getting over the past because no matter how much I may want it to have been different, it's not going to change. By getting off that road, it's enabled me to step onto new paths and move in new directions that allow for growth rather than the stagnation which can occur when all you have is bitterness and resentment of things you can't change anyway.

That was a pretty good lesson for me, so will go with that one until something even better comes along.

Celeste

The experience:  When all is said and done, I hope I have an experience that shows me that this isn't all there is to life

The lesson:  When all is sais and done, I hope that the old cliche' about how time heals all wounds really was true

The most important lesson was that the unmentionables in your life can fill your heart with boundless limits of love.

There are actually two expierences. The day my nephew was born, it was probally the singular most stressful day of my life. We nearly lost both my sister and him. So him is a treasure. The second expierence, was the look of trust and love when we took my god-son home from the hospital the last time. He knew that he was going "flyin". I was graced to be with him.

These are treasures and love.

Sorry didnt mean to get all emotional

when all issaid and done and they lay me down one last time I hope I have touched enough people and made them smile that my memory will never be forgotten

when all is said and done I hope my 2 unmentionables will have grown to be the best people they can be and treat everyone with respect so that they will get respect back

experiences I have to ditto Gauge .... I wouldn't have missed either childs birth for anything in the world. I live in the moment so every experience becomes important too mebut my 2 unmentionables top the list of experiences I wouldn't trade for the world
