I posted this at another site, and was curious what ya'll think here.

In a scene, not a relationship, are tears common? Getting to an emotional point of tears. I had a pretty intense scene with a Dom. Afterwards, he was the sweetest thing in the world. Worried about me, as gentlemanly as they come. I was extremely shaky. After setting down, he held me. I'm not sure why, but I had to just let go. Is this common?

Emotional outbursts are very common from subs. But common or not, like any intense experience, no one should tell you what is the "normal" way to react to a scene. As a sub, there were times when I responded by sobbing, but gave the color green as I needed the catharsis. I was offended and annoyed when I was "shushed", and not allowed the release of that emotion. If your outburst is interfering with other scenes, the Dom should take you to another area & let you cry it out.l

I've seen a wide variety of emotional responses after an intense scene. Tears, anger, giggling, fear, anxiety, shame, peace, rapture... any of these reponses can appear after a scene and there's nothing strange about them.

>>>>>>>agrees with MrThorns......i think i have run the gamut of emotions following scenes, and i believe that they are all quite normal and depend upon the intensity of the scene and the mindset of the players.
Peace and light,
