From all my experience, there is NO SEX with a pro-domme. Plus, she keeps her clothes on at all times. If a woman isn't dominant she can take acting classes. The following are Pro-Dommes that charge at least $300 an hour. Surely, this is a worthy career field to pursue.

For me, I have thought about it, and when I was in college the first go-round and somewhat more naive, I did take some cash to give some guys a good spanking at various fetish clubs. Nothing like that kind of money.

But as for the reasons why I wouldn't choose to pursue it as a career? I like control. And when money enters the picture I feel like I have given up some of that control. Perhaps it's the way I was raised, but things like very expensive gifts often come with strings attached, and I don't like feeling beholden to anyone.

Also, it looks like a lot of flippin' work. I'm too damn lazy to bother.

There's a bit of an investment going in, like any business. Plus, there's always the possibility that law enforcement may decide to target your business, depending on your community.

crumpets -> RE: Why Don't More Women Become Pro-Domme? (9/14/2015 5:02:51 PM)

Those prices appear reasonable, but on the steep side, if you ask me.

It has been a decade since I've been to a hooker, so, I'm not sure if "inflation" has taken hold of the "industry", so, I just looked up the prices here, in the San Francisco Bay Area (I myself, would NEVER go to a Pro Domme when I can get it for free).

At "the gates", across the bay from San Francisco, a pro domme (or pro submissive) "donation" is $180 an hour.
http://www.thegatessm.com/#!donations/c11zz

I didn't check backdrop.net, but, at given prices at The Gates (where the women are drop-dead gorgeous), the prices you unearthed are 166% of what they would be, here in SF Bay Area.

Ive been reading the other two threads we have about pro/fin and I have seen you quote prices and now I have seen this...

You guys must live where there are hundreds of pros at your finger tips. bc down here, where I am from. The pros I know and myself, charge waaaaaaay more than these prices.
I guess it has to do with availability and location.

But there is no sex involved. Plus, she keeps her clothes on at all times. Why would law enforcement get involved?

I know you're talking pro dommes, but where I live, a blowjob from a prostitute is about $125 to $150, which isn't worth it.
Sex is about $180 for about 45 minutes as they book by the hour, but need time to tidy up.

We have a saying that we save a hundred to two hundred bucks every time we masturbate.
In effect, our hands are a money maker!

It seems that the OP is from LA, and the prices I quoted are published cash prices in SF/Oakland (credit card prices were slightly higher), while you are, presumably, from Arkansas.

Looking at the Backdrop in Mountainview California (between San Francisco & the Silicon Valley), the hourly rate is the same for cash or credit at $200/hour for a Pro Domme or a Pro sub:
http://www.backdrop.net/staff/gen-info.htm

They advertise "There will be No sex, sensual massage or assisted sexual release" at that link.

Given these published prices, it would seem anything over about $200 an hour for a Pro Domme around here is paying too much.

TNDommeK -> RE: Why Don't More Women Become Pro-Domme? (9/14/2015 8:08:27 PM)

No I'm from Memphis, I lived in ark for a couple years but Memphis is my home.
But I see where you're getting your prices from.

I'm not sure what that has to do with the subject.

As you saw, those were published prices, but, on Craigslist, you can get an hour with a college kid for about a hundred or so (don't ask me how I know that) any time you want.

What are the prices in the rest of the states?

Are the published California prices (i.e., $180 to $200 per hour) for Pro Dommes lower than everywhere else in the USA?

TNDommeK -> RE: Why Don't More Women Become Pro-Domme? (9/14/2015 9:21:15 PM)

The two I know in ark start at $400 and hour and they stay booked.
I know a few here in Memphis. One charges $350/ hr, another charges 500/hr and the other one varies depending on her sub. But she is more high end. Now I have not "sat in" so to speak, in their sessions but I've asked subs and them and they say there's no sex involved.
(Ya know, for ppl who think they have to be fuckin to get those prices)

Thanks for letting me know what the prices are in Arkansas and Tennessee.
I guess Pro Dommes are the one thing that is (a lot) cheaper out here in California, then some other states.

I fully understand the no-sex thing, although, it depends on the definition we ascribe to "sex".
Certainly there are zero coital connections; but the top and bottom of the lady are sometimes fair game for touching (subject to prior negotiation). Also, despite what the backdrop price list said, the gates encourages self release (which, I think, is ridiculous under the circumstances).

To reiterate, there is no fuckin' (which is actually cheaper, at least on Craigslist, than a Pro Domme is anyway), which makes sense, since the acting role of a Pro Domme (or pro sub) is substantially MORE labor intensive than that of a common hooker, IMHO).

In many cases the law does not allow consent to be a defense to an abuse charge.

TNDommeK -> RE: Why Don't More Women Become Pro-Domme? (9/14/2015 11:24:57 PM)

I would assume a craigslist girl or a backpage girl goes for around 100. Atleast thats what I saw when I was told about back page.

DerangedUnit -> RE: Why Don't More Women Become Pro-Domme? (9/14/2015 11:35:21 PM)

I would imagine there are many price brackets... cheap hookers/cheap donmes/cheap therapists expensive dommes/hookers/therapists... back in 08 I made 1500 a day and didnt sleep with the guys until we had been "dating" some time.... as a common hooker not domme, though all my clients were on the submissive end... even retired with my hymen intact(I think price goes up as penis size goes down).

The first job I did before getting a client base I said a donation if 300 would be nice.... he was the fourth person id had sex with and he said "you definitely know what you're doing" and gave me $1500. I wasnt going to correct him and changed how I worked. After that I never set a price, I spent time with them, hinting that those I liked the most would be the ones kept around. The average figured itself out.

That was before the economy went to shit here, now girls are a dime a dozen, even if I was still 18(and was still a virgin whore) I doubt id fetch even half that these days. Not worth it now. Besides daddy has dreams of a white picket fence and a mini van I cant blow ;)

TNDommeK -> RE: Why Don't More Women Become Pro-Domme? (9/15/2015 1:31:26 AM)

When I worked at platinum plus in Memphis, I had hooker friends that made around those amounts. Of course there were those that were waaaay cheaper, they looked it too. prolly on drugs or something. But a few of my friends dated politicians and such, so they fetched a pretty penny. I have a friend now who was a call girl but has been "cuffed" (seeing a regular customer exclusively bc he takes total care of her and takes her with him everywhere). Shes in her early 30s, gorgeous.

I must say though, I dont really see the connection with hookers, call girls and the like in association with pro/fin Dommes.

DerangedUnit -> RE: Why Don't More Women Become Pro-Domme? (9/15/2015 1:50:28 AM)

I included therapists in that too for a reason, they are all companionship professions.

Never dated any politicians, but I was birthed by one so I can sniff them out before I get too close lol two of my guys were minor celebs(i mean really minor) a couple producers, including my day job boss that was a producer, had a porn site, and owned some jiffy lube franchises(the sites office was out of jiffy lube, which made for a lovely explanation of workplaces)... one of my guys was a professional poker player.... got fired from his real job when they found out he was dying(kidney failure) we would spend the day gardening, and playing with the dog, then go to tourneys at night... he was really sweet, just got dealt a bad hand.

TNDommeK -> RE: Why Don't More Women Become Pro-Domme? (9/15/2015 2:23:23 AM)

ah,ok gotcha.

when I danced I had a few celebs that were regulars, and poker players, some well WELL known ones. I never did the sex for money thing though. (I dont knock anyone who does, just not my thing)
I just recently had a boxer, but he got into some trouble and is in jail now. I love dancing.

Sounds like you had fun. Thats what matters to me. Have fun doing whatever you do!

LadyPact -> RE: Why Don't More Women Become Pro-Domme? (9/15/2015 6:21:11 PM)

Because I don't want to. Is that a strange concept?
