defiantbadgirl -> Was Oklahoma death row inmate set up? (9/16/2015 10:57:44 PM)

Richard Glossip was convicted and sentenced to die because Sneed claimed Glossip paid him to kill their boss. In exchange for implicating Glossip, Sneed got life in prison. Both an inmate and Sneed's daughter are saying Sneed has admitted to lying about Glossip's involvement to avoid the death penalty.

Yeh

knowing how over the over top corrupt the justice industry is in the US, and I could never support the death penalty any circumstances.

the whole "justice" system is a set up.. its set up to force innocent people to admit to committing a crime they didnt commit cuz to fight the charges and fail it too great a risk and too great a punishment.. 90-95% take a plea deal.. does anyone really believe they are all actually guilty?

As far as the death penalty goes.. "around 120 of the roughly 3,000 inmates on death row in America are not guilty"
http://time.com/79572/more-innocent-people-on-death-row-than-estimated-study/

"Since 1973, at least 121 people have been released from death row after evidence of their innocence emerged. During the same period of time, over 982 people have been executed. Thus, for every eight people executed, we have found one person on death row who never should have been convicted."
