Was turned onto this site from a member of ALT. I like the interface though should have read the rules a little closer, got put in message purgatory for awhile for sending the same message to several members. Anyone have an idea of how long I am in purgatory?

Why send the same or very similar message to several people?? That's very unimaginative and quite frankly, very boring. Treat people as people first, kink second. Everyone is an individual and that implies that they deserve an individual message. The one major complaint we hear and see is lazy asshats that copy/paste bland messages. Be a little more creative and make a personal one. [sm=welcome.gif] to the chat side of CollarSpace.

As a receiver of many copy and pasted messages I will say that they are easy to spot. They are completely generic and could have been sent to anyone. Those messages got ignored, especially the ones that said they loved my picture when I didn't have a picture in my profile. If you want to get someone's attention, show that you read their profile. Mention something in their profile that caught your attention. The first Dom I ever met and played with wrote about gardening as he saw that was one of my interests. He loved to garden also so that gave us something to talk about as we got to know each other.
