THERE ONCE WERE THREE WISE,,,,,,

Blacks
No I didn't say Wise Men or WHITE MEN
I said Blacks

And No not Marcus Garvey Malcolm X or Martin Luther King All are contenders and dead in their right mind for what they spoke

I mean

Tupsc shakur Christopher Wallace aka the Notorious BIG Biggie Smallz and Nasir Jones aka Nas

Tupac is dead Biggie is Dead so only one left standing is Nas So I decide to put on some black paint
and roleplay Nas lets say hoping Id Die to save face...But I'm latino
So instead of three wise blacks
There's Two wise black Men and a Latino
Some might argue then why not Eminen?
But then would you think He;'d die

If the Bible talks about three wise Men and I talk about Three wise Men Is rewriting the bible in Modern Times inclusive or exclusive
if what I said was to be held true

The bible is a work of fiction and self-contradictory.

I don't see that you can relate fiction with reality - past, present or future.
To attempt to do so would be square-peg and round-hole syndrome.

You are unaware of the second coming?

I'd say that's a good rule to live by.

I don't entirely agree. That the Bible is contradictory is a problem. But leaving the Bible aside, much of what we once considered reality has proven to be fiction, much fiction has become reality, and some fiction is intended to convey subjective realities. The indivisible atom wasn't, science fiction is becoming fact, and Narcissus is real (just look around). The divisions become less clear the more closely they are examined.

exactly in what way is the bible "fiction?"

what I hope is a challenging thought for you given your signature---since millions of people have studied, shown and believe to the contrary over many centuries and continue to do so today, your statement is dismissively naïve.

as far as "self-contradictory"---to my knowledge, there are only "apparent" contradictions in the bible, pointed out by people who have a vested interest in disbelieving it. every time I see someone write about a "contradiction", further examination shows theologians and biblical scholars who can reasonably reconcile them.

God doesn't exist - only in the minds of the feeble-minded.

So there is no first or second - neither exist.

There are those that say that of all religions. It is a belief that can not, or probably never will be, proven. And that includes athiests, muslums, budhists, etc.

the incredible irony of saying that "god doesn't exist" is that one has to have omniscience in order to say it.

so who really, are the feeble minded ones?

That logic is personally why I stick to agnosticism, even though the evidence that a god might exist is factually non-existence and requires faith in ancient, poorly translated books in the first place. Simply put, we don't know what we don't know, and what we don't know could be a lot, or not much at all, but just because we don't know something doesn't mean we should jump to conclusions and call what we don't know god. If we don't have the omniscience to say god doesn't exist, then we clearly don't have the omniscience to say that he does. Nice job with the logic bounty, but next time I'd advise you follow the logic to it's conclusion, don't just stop at where you feel comfortable, you might learn something interesting.

Not really, Bounty. If I were to say that Superman doesn't exist, people would just think I was a bit of a bore for stating the obvious. God's in the same category for people such as myself and my friends. *Nobody* would stand back in awe and say, 'Wow, this lad is *wise*'. They'd all just wait for me to make my real point - which would have to be something beyond the self-evident.

It takes no energy, no philosophy, no reasoning ... nothing at all, to say 'God doesn't exist'. It's just obvious ... and let's move on ... to me and my milieu. It's not even an interesting remark.

More likely they would think that you and your friends can't be very bright to propose such a flawed analogy. You know, as a verifiable and certain fact, that "Superman" is a fictional superhero created in 1933 by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, but neither you nor anyone else knows what the ultimate source and ground of the Universe may be, or even whether it is possible for us ever to know.

Exactly, so it's just as ignorant to make assumptions that God brought it all into being. If you believe God did so, then that's fine, but don't try to rationalize your beliefs in a world where the opposite belief holds the same weight as yours. Accept that you'll never know one way or another and move on, no point getting bent out of shape about it. All we can really do is continue learning and see what we find. If there's a God in there somewhere, then great, if not, then it's just as great because we still learn something. We should never make assumptions about the universe without a good test to prove whether that assumption is right or wrong. If it isn't something that can be tested, then said assumption is worthless and is nothing more than willful imagination. Keep things in reality where they belong, and if you believe something else then keep that fantasy to yourself.
