ORIGINAL: joether What I dont like about this quiz is that it places 'Statist' and 'libertarian' as the 'neutral' alignment from Dungeons and Dragons. With Liberals as good and conservatives as evil. [:D] Libertarians are NEVER neutral. Nor is 'big government'. In fact, does the size of government determine whether the government is good for the people it serves? Libertarians are just crazy fuckers (sorry DaddySatyr, there are many in that bunch that are just flat out insane). If one answers 'maybe' down the line, they are a centrist. To get 'big government' one has to 'agree' on the stuff that doesn't make 'big government', 'big government' in reality. Is our government 'big'? Or is it actually small? Since a big government could easily handle the needs of the nation without to many problems. How easily can the current government handle that big debt we have on the books? Not to well. How about protecting the weakest of our citizens against the many challenges they must endure? We really do not do a good job there either. Or justice system is screwed up not from the size of government, but by people, whom 'look the other way' when their is money to be made. All in all, the current government of the USA is not big. I've seen facebook 'quizs' like this one. All of them simple and of little real value or insight. According to the Dungeons and Dragons, I'm Lawful Good. 'Famous smart people', I'm Spock. For 'Fictional Nations' I'm the Alliance from WoW. My favor firearm is the MP-5. What does this all say about me? Nothing more or less then this quiz. Yeah, Statists and Libertarians aren't polar opposites. [8|] Are your knickers seriously this twisted up over the graphic having the "origin" at the bottom corner? Most 2-axis graphs also have the positive numbers going up or to the right (depending on the axis), so the way this graph is presented is a bit different, as it's rotated 45° CCW. But, that allows for "Conservative" to be directly right, and "Liberal" directly left, which is also traditionally the way those two sides are viewed.
