that article is a little yellow journalism. We have known for a long time that certain saturated fats, in smaller amounts say--- 3%-10% of total calories are good for you. there are certain of those acids, the odd chains that are better and some that are not so good, but nobody is going to be picking them out for a while. So Fats in order of use and so on are: Mono Poly Saturated Trans Trans fats (partially hydrogenated, and burnt up old grease) are pretty deadly for fats. So, just remember the alphabet and choose the one lowest on the alphabet between the kinds. And dont sweat the hamburger and the steaks time to time. Oh, yeah, and I have never left butter.
