Hypothetically speaking say you meet a sweet young guy and then you find out he's 18 and starting college which is ironic because I'm starting my final year. Outside of that there's no problem. Yet despite the fact we like a lot of the same things and he's shown to be very mature it still feels awkward. My point is this despite all the positives is taking a younger slave worth it?

It depends what you mean by 'take a slave'.

If it's primarily for service and/or kinky fun, what's the problem with age?

If it's primarily a FLR you're looking for, then ask yourself if you would consider a younger boyfriend. You've already stated that it doesn't feel right, so I guess you have your answer already.

Pretty much I have always been with younger men. I even married a man who was 22 when I was 31. Never any regrets. But yes, he was SUPER mature for his age, an "old soul" even though I don't believe in that stuff, and so booksmart that he could run circles around me in debates. Every much my equal, except in BDSM, where I was in charge. And sex, of course.

Around senior year of college or 1-2 years into my first job was my heyday. Because dating those 18-19 year olds was awesome. Here I was, top of my game, maybe in my career, and they were still in that youthful innocence stage. Women mature faster than men, so I felt even more mature, but did not look it. This was not full on "cougar" time, but just a slightly older woman with more experience that tilted the scales and gave the whole dynamic more of a femdom edge.

The caveat was they had to be smart and mature, not goofy and obnoxious, not a dumb jock type. I went for shy nerds. Big time. Take off their glasses, give them a haircut, pick out their clothes, and they were hot. But they were shy, nervous, insecure. The shaking and fear were 100% real. I was addicted to that. Real intimidation, real "What are you going to do to me?" kind of stuff.

Theoretically yes (see my last post). I accept people reach a maximum maturity by lets call it 20-30. Girls earlier as us men lack the capacity to rival that. genomes or garden gnomes I believe all very scientific.

Answering as a switch.

Most likely, no. I tend not to be interested in submissives of either sex unless they present as something of a challenge - not brattiness, but a certain hint of defiance and wit that demonstrates an active, working mind that doesn't have any dust on it. There are a few people that have presented themselves as interested in me teaching them rope - something that is for me still quite beginner, but that I am learning with a surprising amount of ease -- but these are not submissives, they are my peers. I tend to prefer individuals who are my equal in age, or older, for company and that thus far has extended into kink as well.

Theoretically you are talking first year - final year = 3, 4 years. Not exactly a time chasm.

Yes, and I have had both good and bad experiences in doing so.

I am more cautious of young and/or inexperienced slaves, but I don't rule them out completely. They need to show sincerity, and that they aren't too confused by porn.

I know some Dommes prefer to have younger as they have no baggage and can be trained easily and others prefer older ones that know what they want im a slave myself I see no problem having a older or younger owner

We wouldn't mind a younger Slave. But we prefer at least 21ish.
