Sadly that's not an excuse.

What we have is lonely, sad, self-hating unemployable people (person maybe!) who spends all day playing the big man online rather than going outside where he risks getting a face full of sand...

I think the owner is getting ready to close the forums. I can't imagine any other reason to have it be like this when it's so easy to clean it up.

I'd be terribly sorry to see this community--or what's left of it--evaporate.

I know a lot of folks don't grasp how important online connections can be, but I've encountered all sorts and conditions of cool folks through CM. Having lunch with two of them on Saturday.

I have the same nick on FetLife. Imaginative, huh? I don't visit there terribly often, but I may start doing so.

Me thinks that you do complain too much! The forums may me better off without those so called friends. Evil minded moderators were removed and replaced. One former moderator actually entered forums under other handles and engineered situations so they could remove someone in their moderator capacity. The forums are dominated by a bigoted group of like-minded troublemakers. They have had free reign here for at least 12 years. Time they ceased their cowardly games and did constructive things offline and not live only online causing problems.

Seriously, this reminds me of b.com in its last days. Which is when I moved to here. I'm on fet, same name, but I just like the forums here better. Made it easier to get to know people.

I do not know WTF is going on! I have heard rumours that the owner faced a possible litigation action concerning human rights and constitutional breaches by Moderators. He investigated and dismissed the whole shower of moral bankrupts. Some troublemakers are not happy because their friends got caught out. They are malevolent malcontents who want to dominate the boards and only permit topics that they place and resent all others.

^ No shit! Have you seen the necro-fest over in Introductions? I don't understand how someone would 'accidental' spam enough replies to necro threads drowning out the first page. Seems more like a troll sock spamming again. Who in their right mind would spam replies to 11 year old intro's thinking the author would still be monitoring their old post?

I really liked the new mod and I promised to give them leeway to get things done . . . we will just have to see what comes of this. Right now, far more than half the threads started are by socks I have on ignore.
