Hi my names Grace, im really new to this whole thing, and im trying my best to become a sub. I'm looking for a male master, and im not exactly sure how to go about that! If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated!!!! thanks!

Many things should be established prior to committing as a submissive. Not a complete list, but here's a few to start with.

1. Respect yourself.
2. Be happy with yourself.
3. Know yourself. Know what you want or do not want. Know your limits.
4. Define your faults. Conquer them one at a time.
5. Forgive your mistakes prior to expecting forgiveness of others.
6. Set goals. Reach for them. Grasp them.
7. Be honest with yourself, so as to offer honesty to others.
8. Trust yourself prior to offering or accepting trust.
9. Love yourself, enable yourself to love.
10. Feel free to be yourself.

As a master I can tell you what I look for in a sub. Some one who is comfortable and can respect herself. A sub without self respect is repulsive. In my opion (as valid as that may or may not be to you) what you should look for in a Master is someone who is strong, respectfull, and confident. But not over confident. Be wary of anyone who thinks they are the end all say all of BDSM. You know the type of person, they are soooo sure they are the authority on anything. Be especially wary of some one who uses the phrase, "I am the master of that technique." No one really master anything, because what we do is a living breathing thing. It changes all the time. There are constantly knew things that we learn and with them grow. Good luck in your search.

Saw your message about "help" and how a sub could find a master.
Often the problem is the other way there are way more "doms" looking for "subs"
posting a "ad" here or i any of the other groups will guarantee you hundreds of e-mails.
MOST however will be from wannabees and from males who just want a quickie.
Or just browse the ads here from "Doms" and ansser a few..
most of all trust in yourself , your "inner" voice. and Common sence.

You will have better luck looking on the other side of the CM house (personals). Here on the forums we love to discuss all aspects of life and the lifestyle! Seriously Lord Von,

Take the time to spell words out correctly. Any submissive hopes that her/his Master would at least take the time to spell words out. If you do not have the time for proper grammer, how could you have the time and patience for proper training and discipline.
