DARTMOUTH APOLOGIZES

First a short recap of the protest in the library:
Students who refused to listen to or join their outbursts were shouted down. “Stand the f*** up!” “You filthy racist white piece of s***!” Men and women alike were pushed and shoved by the group. “If we can’t have it, shut it down!” they cried. Another woman was pinned to a wall by protesters who unleashed their insults, shouting “filthy white b****!” in her face. ~The Dartmouth Review
The apology:
Dartmouth College has responded to intensely negative national media coverage over a Black Lives Matter protest that harassed white students by issuing an apology... During a Monday night community discussion at the school’s black affinity dormitory, vice provost for student affairs Inge-Lise Ameer apologized to protesters for the hostile coverage their protest received. ~Daily Caller

Why are you surprised at student protest in universities? Why do you think this is noteworthy? Did not the founders treat the royal governors and their appointees in a more disrespectful manner. How many administrators have the protestors tared and feathered? How many of the administrators have had their homes burned to the ground by the protestors? Why is it ok for white protestors/the founders to do far worse yet you take umbridge with the black, more restrained, ones?
