As some folks might recall, back in the summer of 2013, I started this thing that I nicknamed "The Wax Project". It kind of became born after I had heard this horrendous tale about a gal in Florida who had been severely burned during a wax play scene. It wasn't a game and it wasn't a joke. The bottom involved in the scene was hideously scarred because somebody got the bright idea to take those plastic coated, cheap birthday candles, stick them in the hubs of needles, and light her up because they wanted cool pictures for Fet.

(I'm still kind of looking for the reference thread that I posted here about this two years ago. It used to be complete with links to the black and white site to see the pictures of the damage. The other site pulled those pics not long after.)

I'd heard about this terrible thing at an event called the Alaskan Kinky Camp Out. At first, I thought Jxxxx was pulling my leg. "Nobody would ever do that," I said. Came home, back to computer access. I found out it was all true. I started making more candles. Started talking to folks who wanted to take part as bottoms for photo shoots.

Before I knew it, this thing wasn't my project anymore. It was a community project. People drove a hundred miles one way just to be a part of it. Others donated huge blocks of wax and would just say, "make this into something". Another guy donated sheets and plastic to cover the floor. Z brought me a new massage table.

Tonight, I got a message from tk. (You guys remember him. I fell madly in love with him during this time.) It seems those teachings actually paid off.
