I saw The Martian with Matt Damon, I wasn't really into it, I usually like SciFi stuff so I duno what happened there.
What did you think of the movie?

I liked the storyline it had some funny moments and was more on the survival aspects of such a mission. I think it was a good job on how something like that would actualy happen much as it did in the Apollo missions to the moon. could have had some charter development before the event to help tie in the rest of the crew but over all not bad.

I have not had a chance to watch the Martian movie so I just hope it is not purporting to be also produced from footage kept secret by NASA as in the " fictional" Apollo missions.

Did you read the book? It was far, far better than the movie.

That's weird, I did a search for 'Martian' before I made this thread and got no results =|

I've read a few people saying the book is better. (only seen the movie) I don't think I'd like the book either really. The humour in the story isn't really my kind of humour.
