Trump may be this or that and likely fits the bill on many counts but he's just trying everything to get elected. Nothing new there, especially in the US lately, say 30-40 years or maybe ever since Nixon's 'southern strategy.'

It is very possible for many objective observers...to observe, this is how low the election process has sunk and...not just here.

what does that say about American voters???

My gawd, that there are people that kiss the ground he walks on is just disgusting.. [:'(]

It says not much and that's just it. It is the pres. and both houses that are the problem because as I've been saying, expecting that changing the pres. is going to change the direction of the country is like expecting that changing the hood ornament, changes the direction of the car.

They're all whores, choosing to be addicted as slaves, to the money and power of the elites.

Yada yada yada....racist bigot homophobe......blah blah blah

How odd that identifying someone as a racist bigot homophobe doesn't cause you to question his judgement. Perhaps you feel that these are good judgements to make.

I would hate to have someone who makes such bad judgements about people that he can't see past his own bigotry and prejudice making decisions for the nation. I don't see the merit of having someone like that with their finger on the nuclear button. That's the last place any one sane would put someone with bad judgement skills.

Tune up your sarcasm meter. Racist bigot and homophobe are the typical liberal buzz words for smearing their opponents.

Sometimes with good reason, like Strom Thurmond (dem to repub) and others who switch parties over desegregation [he] even going so far as to say "all the laws of Washington and all the bayonets of the Army cannot force the Negro into our homes, into our schools, our churches and our places of recreation and amusement." [sic]

.....but not say for Leon Panetta who started out in politics as a Republican and he worked briefly in the Nixon administration. He switched parties in 1971 over concerns about the civil rights policies of the Nixon administration. (repub to dem)

Donald Trump claims thousands of Muslims in Jersey City New Jersey cheered as the towers fell on 9/11. Source
Let us face some facts:
The guy is either a racist asshole of indescribable proportions, or he is a fucking nut job.
Wanting to have all Muslims in the US registered and tracked?
And people want to compare Obama to Hitler?

I think every future President is going to be compared to Hitler, regardless of actual similarities.

I don't know if he's a racist, but he does come across as an asshole of indescribably proportions (wait, doesn't that describe the proportions?!? [8D]). I think he's more likely to be a fucking nutjob. But, that's just me.

DaddySatyr -> RE: WTF? People actually believe this asshole? (11/23/2015 6:13:08 PM)

I lived in South Brunswick, NJ, on 11 SEP 2001.

There was a mosque on U.S. 1 (South Bound) at the New Rd. intersection. It was called: "The Middlesex County Islamic Society " (I believe) and people were, indeed, dancing and singing and praising Allah, that day. There was only between 100 and 200 people but it happened. I witnessed it with my own eyes.

(Then, a couple of local pineys whooped their asses for 'em. It was in the papers)

10% of Muslims in Moderate Malaysia supports ISIS. This stats comes from the Malaysian government, who is figuring how to tackle and prevent their own people from joining ISIS.

So if only thousands out of millions of muslims in America cheered for 9/11, then that isn't so unrealistic.

Trump seems accurate.

He said it was on TV and in one particular city, and parties on the roof tops.

He is about as accurate on this as he has been on other things, such as Syrian refugees caught at the Texas/Mexico border, blatant lie.

But, to be honest, about the same percentage of fundamentalist american christians in the states support such things as putting "Wanted Dead or Alive" posters up of Abortion providers complete with home addresses, telephone numbers, license plate numbers etc, as well as bombing abortion clinics, synagogues, and mosques.

This is the same man who wants Muslims to be required to be registered in the US, citizens or not, thought the beating of an African American man was justified at one of his rallies.

I would not say that he is the Antichrist, but most of the crap he is proposing violates the Constitution in more ways than Obama ever thought of.

And for the record, Malasia is moderate in very few aspects, I mean they had tourists caned for minor crimes.

When 10% of Christians are coming together, going all out war on all abortion clinics of the world and making plans and actions and actually take action to bomb those abortion clinics of the world, including willing to sacrifice their own life for their anti-abortion cause.

Trust me, I will start ranting about Christians.

But at the moment, there doesn't seem to be any activity of a mass operation of world wide abortion clinic bombings. Also, they have no role model in the bible to teach them that they are suppose to bomb abortion clinics. So I think to compare that to Muslim terrorists....

A friend of mine was saying, we need to send the Christian terrorists after the Muslim terrorists.

And I was like, great idea! But where are these Christian terrorists? If only we could find them, we could incite them to fight ISIS.

And bombing abortion clinics will actually be them performing abortion themselves, I'm sure they will feel a little hypocritical later after they realise how they just performed an abortion themselves. It's a little different from clear mission to killing infidels and actually following up on their mission to actually kill infidels.

Let me get this straight-you are taking statistics reported about a country on the other side of the globe from the U.S., and using those stats as proof that Trump is accurate in his statements regarding something that doesn't have a damn thing to do your statistics?

Seriously, go ahead and ignore the fact that no one has been able to find any evidence supporting his statements. Nothing from newspapers published at the time, nor news broadcasts, nor anything else.

But because that does not support what you want to believe, you will look elsewhere for evidence, evidence so removed from the situation that it would blow even Kevin Bacon's mind.

Greta75 -> RE: WTF? People actually believe this asshole? (11/23/2015 7:20:17 PM)

Fact is US, does not have statistic on how many Muslims in the US supports ISIS, because they aren't living in a Muslim country and cannot openly declare their support of ISIS.

Whereas Muslim countries like Malaysia can openly ask and nobody gets in trouble for saying they support ISIS.

They got actual stats.

So US should really worry about what is the percentage of their millions of Muslims that actually support ISIS.

I think judging from numbers from Malaysia, 10% is fair. Let's just say 5% in the US, that would be fair too. IF it's halved, it would amount to thousands at the very least.

Greta75 -> RE: WTF? People actually believe this asshole? (11/23/2015 7:26:03 PM)

This person claims It is True

Greta75 -> RE: WTF? People actually believe this asshole? (11/23/2015 7:32:57 PM)

Also at that time, too bad, video phones were not yet as widely used and advance as now.

It was a damn bad time.

And why would people want to give publicity to Muslims who were cheering 9/11 in the US. All the media was only focus on tributes.

There was also this whole thing to protect local Muslims from backlash from 9/11. If they were to show these few baddies in the media, it would just incite more problems with all the distrust of muslims going on and may cause innocent muslims to be targetted within the country.

Also, I believe there is no crime commited in US law, even if they cheered for 9/11 right? Why would the police be involved? No crime commited. They can celebrate and cheer whatever they want. No crimes commited at all. Just insensitive maybe. If they police was investigating anything, they would have found nothing, as no crime commited.

I have to make an apology to Bounty44.
I made a mistake and didnt scroll down far enough to read exactly the terms mentioned in your post.
I apologise for making the above statement.

tweakabelle -> RE: WTF? People actually believe this asshole? (11/24/2015 2:46:49 AM)

Kudos to you lucy for apologising publicly and promptly after you made a mistake.

It takes an honest and sincere person to admit mistakes and try to make things right after they have made an error. It takes strength and nobility of character too, qualities that are all too often absent in some of the posts and posters here.

I hope others will emulate the standard you have set. I hope I will. Thanks lucy
