Happy Holidays to those who celebrate the season, whether its Christmas, Yule (me) or other holidays. Just don't ask me to spell the rest out because its too early in the morning and I have had no caffeine yet.

Been doing okay, I guess. Got osteoarthritis in my left shoulder so its hard dealing with the pain. Did a steroid shot but it is not really helping. Also got insomnia like crazy yet I have to nap nearly every day...messed up sleep patterns.

Going to see my daughter at the end of the year and attend Ikkicon as a volunteer. Will probably be worn out afterwards. At least I get a steak dinner out of it.

Got 14 baby afghans for sale on eBay at a modest price...just need to get rid of them and use the monies to pay off the dentist (got to get another tooth pulled).

Mom recently had injections done to her tailbone and needs to get some nerves burned. He wants her to use some pain patches on her back but the insurance does not cover it...and he called it in to the wrong pharmacy...*grumble grumble*

been window shopping like crazy. Also need to get my bus tickets tomorrow, a haircut and hair coloring... really do not like these grey hairs!

Gee, I haven't done one of these on this site in a while.

Happy Holidays right back to you and to everyone else. Sorry to hear about the insomnia. Be careful or someone will try to accuse you of being bi-polar for it. LOL.

I can't believe it's December already. I don't know where the past six months has gone but they have been rushed right by. November was wonderful. The three of us had a great Thanksgiving and the weekend following was just awesome. I've been having a lot of fun and December is going to have even more to it. I'm not quite ready to dive into the holiday plans just yet. It's a matter of pacing myself and just getting things done in increments. Of course, there's the normal taking some time out for the holiday parties. There are a lot of happenings in this area during December.

A bit OT but have you looked into leech therapy? I use it for my herniated disks especially before long distance flights and we adapted it from human treatment for the female Dobie about 6 years ago as she had crippling arthritis and now with 12 years of age runs like a puppy. It's icky but works and I rather deal with a leech biting me than steroid shots, the little bloodsuckers inject a pain killer and an anti-inflamatory with their saliva, I still squeal like a piglet when they are applied (cold wet creature gnawing on me and sucking my blood) but being able to move without pain and to sit for hours on a plane and then not walk like the hunchback of Notre Dame makes it worth it. To be honest, it's not very painful, it's just me being a big girl's blouse about them

As for December

Still not over losing big boy Alfie, the huge brown Dobie to a particular aggressive form of bone marrow cancer and wandering around the house with the dogs and cats looking for him...

Never been much of a fan of the season of gluttony, so I guess I'm going to ignore all the "must buy" ads for Xmas and as usual pretend it doesn't happen

I'm with you ShaharThorne... It's December?!? What? LOL!

I'm entering December at a very good place. My Pet and I have deepened our connection over the past two months in ways we never expected. I've met another man who is worming his way into my life with fun companionship and AMAZING cooking.

My health could be better. I haven't been working out as much as I should, with all of the socializing and such, but I'm excited to get back to that. Today will be a lovely day for a 4 mile walk at lunch time.

My publications/teaching business is growing every month. November doubled September, so that's a big win. I may get my app business back from my deadbeat partners this month. *fingers crossed*

I'm heading to see family in Louisville for Xmas, and I'm looking forward to it. It will be a brief break in my social/professional calendar.

I know what I'm getting a few of the people on my gifts list, but by no means am I sure. LOL!

Wow. December. Sheesh!

Lurgy, as a couple mentioned it - I think all my days merge into one, never-ending eternity, after another think Heaven Sent - those get free cuddles and hugs...there rest costs a muffin

I do not bother putting my tree up as I spend that day alone x 13 years...besides my 3 cats would eat it

Coccydynia is not nice my lurgy makes me prone to falling 9/10 I fall back - try coming with that
