Dear maysubgirl, Ladies and Gentlemen; With women serving in the military, police departments, EMT's, fire fighters and many masculine jobs very well, it really should be not about gender who would be best to protect you but, the quality of person who is a dominant. I know many of both genders who wear the Dominant lable who would frankly be as effective as a chocolate teapot when it comes to protecting a sub/slave against anything. I am sorry, but I really do not understand your question. What does being a Master or Mistress have to do with real life crime or protection against such things? If you are going to be mugged, having a Mistress or Master will not help you if you are alone. If you are talking about being taken advantage of, perhaps someone can help, but you can also help protect yourself against things like that.

How about a slave with intelligence and common sense? A Mistress with a gun...or a black belt? A master with the same? A dog? What scenarios are you thinking about that could happen where you would need protection from crime that you could not provide yourself? In any case, the best way to get out of a criminal situation is with your brains and keeping cool, that transcends physical strength in many situations. But most men are physically stronger than women. Interesting question. I look forward to hearing where you're going with this.

Gender does not matter in situations like that. Either or could fight people off or, if they've the diplomatic skills, convince someone to back down, but it they are not present they won't help you at all. I myself am a sub, but for several years I've been training in martial arts and could fend someone off far better than my Master could. And while my Master isn't really up to the task of 24/7, I do know another girl who is a slave 24/7 and she knows something of protecting herself from attackers should her Master not be there. Self defense is something any girl should know something of. If you've a Master or Mistress (or both) then you should ask if you could take self-defense courses, maybe even together so that they would be able to help if they were there as well. It's a lot harder to worry about protecting someone in a fight than it is to fight by yourself as well. If you'd like you could contact me and I could try to describe ways to defend yourself. There are many simple maneuvers that require absolutely no strength to pull off. I have terrible upper body strength, and weak legs as well, but I can hold my own in a fight and toss someone 3 times my size with little to no effort. It honestly isn't so difficult if you know what you're doing. If you feel as though you will wind up in bad situations where you would need to be defended or to defend yourself, I'd be more than happy to give you pointers on ways to protect yourself from attackers. ~Michelle

My Daddy teaches women's self defense and completely believes that women can be just as dangerous as men in hand to hand combat. We have to fight where our strengths are and exploit male weaknesses, but we can be just as fierce. He told me that female humans are socialized to be unprotective and meek, whereas in nature every other female is very protective over their young. I am not saying human females are not protective of their young (I am), but we are not necessarily socialized to be "fierce" about it.

Let me put it this way. I won't take on a slave who's not willing to practice self defense. And she had best be able to punch out the x ring in a target with a 9mm, at fifty feet in the first six months I am training her. I'm very protective of property-but I can't be there every second to do it.

I have a SF weapons bag at home, various other weapons including martial arts and medieval ones and the experience in their use, several hearty largish and not so large boyos and girls all ex mercinary and most ex SF on call. To protect my submissives I always nail them inside of boxes and bury them in the back yard, that way nothing bad ever happens to them.

I found the response interesting, everyone seems to think that proficiency with a weapon or strength is an indication of ability to defend yourself. As for me, give me a naked 5' 100# mother defending her children any day. It is all about motivation and attitude. One problem that Military have in a Police role is that a soldier is trained to kill the enemy, not negotiate or subdue them. You win a war by killing more enemy soldiers than they kill of your soldiers. A police person is trained to use deadly force only as a last resort. So not matter how big, strong, trained, etc..... If you don't have the right mind set you will lose. A Smith and Wesson beats 4 aces every time.

About the only thing I could handle these days is the goblins undre your bed and the monsters in the closet. However, I've been known to defend the honor of milady when the naive across the bar mistakenly assumed she was a whore. After I was pulled off of him he was ejected from the premises. That WAS several decades ago.

Are you asking who is more compassionate in protecting your safety against others who may abuse you? As in loaning you out - who will be more cautious? My answer would be the better Master/Mistress. If you are asking who will beat someone up for you better? I don't know...I've never been in a physical fight, but woman can be pretty vicious when pissed [;)]. (I wouldn't want to tangle with that!)

Get yourself a spine, buy yourself a gun and learn to use it. Also get yourself a dog like a nice doberman. I have both and I sleep very well at night. What you should do is learn to take care of yourself because Mistress or Master cannot be around 24/7 unless they have you chained to their leg, which I doubt. I don't mean to sound mean but, I've read a few of your posts and it almost seems like your either very confused about your sexuality, or you want to stir up trouble between the Mistresses and the Masters. Your always comparing the two. If your not sure about the differences between men and women, perhaps you should get out a bit more.
