Because poor ol' crumpets is still utterly baffled by women and what makes them tick! [:D] So he does all this extra data investigation crap to try and work it out and thinks we should all be looking into it so we can 'splain it to him in simple terms he might be able to grasp. Coz if we don't do this shit, he thinks we are all severely lacking for not doing it. @crumpets: Instead of posting stuff to do with with women changing their bits (which wouldn't be very many), try seeking out documentaries on Gender Reassignment Surgery (both sexes) or the reasons behind why so many men like to be XD's or TV's - that will probably get you a better insight to how the human brain works so you can digest that info and apply it to women. Treating women as a specialist subject will get you nowhere fast - as we have witnessed your total and utter blundering confusion in many threads on these boards.

You might wanna watch/look for a program out there called "Botched" Its about people, both men and women who have had issues with their surgeries(of all kinds) There is one program out of the series that deals with intimate surgery. I wouldnt have surgery to improve the look of my genitalia, the women who do are a tiny percentage, a REALLLLY tiny tiny tiny percentage. Having multiple scars for multiple reasons, Im pretty sure mine is not anyones idea of perfection, but im not putting myself thru surgery, healing, pain, possible infection and the mess to be "perfect". The cost of it is unimportant to my response but the complications are. I can understand the rationale for porn stars/sex industry models, etc to have it done, they are selling "perfection" not reality. I can understand the rationale for having surgery for previous botched surgeries. But losing sensation is horrible. Men and women are having surgery, vets are getting penis transplants in the near future, penis implants are more and more popular. This isnt a woman man thing, its a human condition. oh yeah its also NOT a BDSM thing....

The very thought of this makes me want to cross my legs. Kind of the same reaction some men have when watching a show when some man on screen gets nailed in the balls. Just to improve the look of the va-jay-jay? Ummm... Thanks, but no. Mine's not lined with gold or anything like that but the kitty is just fine the way it is. It wouldn't break my heart if it grew less hair or something like that...

To OP, Why do you bother with vagina surgeries when men circumcise and it's no issue anyway. Men have been defacing their dicks for ages! And when a woman wanna change the appearances of their vagina, it's a problem?

well..of course there is religious "surgery" of many kinds, but that is kinda taken outta their hands, males have absolutely no say in infant circumcision. And most girls have little choice in their "surgery" either. This is a conscious decision to change ones body parts. I also dont have an issue with consensual modification. Its a choice.

I did so badly with surgery I HAD to have- its hard to imagine electing to go under the knife again. But every single year I think about weight loss surgery, despite allllll the night mare stories I've heard. I imagine this surgery is not unlike that. Sometimes you just don't like something about yourself- and if you have the means and courage and will to change it via surgery- more power to you.

I didnt watch the posted vid but I think i have seen some porn girls that musta had surgery cuz they didnt look normal down there.. and quite frankly, if what i saw was from surgery to "improve the look", imo it was a major failure!!! they were dam ugly imo.. but on the plus side they could write off the cost as a business expense.. haha

I think the problem in today's world is, we all have access to porn and many of the women in porn videos have designer vaginas. When a young woman watches her man get worked up by, what's actually not a normal vagina, she may well get a complex about the shape and size of her own labia. Women don't generally go round comparing their 'rosies' with each other and so the one big comparison is porn videos and pornographic pictures. When I went through puberty I was horrified at how things started to change down there but back then, when I looked at porn, I was able to reassure myself that mine was perfectly average. This of course was before porn stars started having ops to make themselves look like pre-pubescent girls. A scene friend of ours works as a nurse for the cosmetic side of a well known private hospital branch in the UK. She claims they get around 15 women a month (which to me is a huge amount) having labia reduction surgery at that practice and that the numbers are getting bigger year on year. This is a topic that is probably one of the least popular subjects amongst women and yet it is a topic that we should be able to talk quite openly about.

DOT fitting it for an on-ramp should cause concern (don't worry about the tollbooth though).
