I am just wondering, why has no one in the Democratic Party put their hat into the ring except for Bernie taking on Hillary? Are there no Dems who think they have more on the ball than Hillary or Did Bill Clinton send out a secret memo that this is his wife's time, so keep out or we'll bury you? What is it? Oh yes, The V.P. chose not to understandbly run, either.

You're forgetting Martin O'Malley, as well as other candidates that have either already hung up the towel, or just can't get media attention & funding. Many potential candidates have already ran for President and failed miserably. Biden, Kerry, Gore... Lozers. And it's already been proven that Hillary isn't guaranteed anything. I'm surpised that Rev Al or Jesse Jackson aren't running.

FR The front runners really are burnie and Clinton, so what other reason would there be for more candidates to crowd the field? Unlike the con candidates who only care for themselves, the Dems as a whole definitely have a more party centric outlook and simply want their party to win more than anything. If I was wrong you would have seen 10+ people running for the Dems to be president just like the cons.

I am thinking that the dems don't want a blood bath and in fact do feel as if this is Hillary's time and are primed for another first, just as with Obama. Bernie might be a VP consideration. I would prefer Mark Warner sen-D-Va but he has repeatedly said he won't run.

sorry sporto---in the past the democrats have had large handfuls of candidates running and it had nothing to do with your major lame supposition of "candidates who only care for themselves." while I don't discount some aspirations of personal power, im also not so cynical to believe that's the primary reason anyone, or lots of people at any given time, run for office. nor that social/political persuasion in this instance trumps basic human nature. which means both sides want power. in direct opposition to your "point" (such that it is), republicans want their party to win more than anything too, which is actually the very reason so many of them are running. they abhor the last 7 years and don't want another 4-8 of it with Hillary. what, you think ted cruz says in his head---oh, i'll just leave it up to chris Christie to beat the democrats instead of doing it myself? or that having a large number of candidates is somehow bad? yeah, the Hillary coronation and your "party centric" is very much in keeping with the authoritarian/centralization of power bent you leftists have that the rest of us find deplorable. and how ironic--you somehow think Hillary is a bastion of caring about other people, or has the good of the country solely in mind? my goodness that's laughable. by the way, do you argue that well on your college papers? that little blurb you just shared there should send you back to middle school...its the essential characteristic in being a partisan, letting party allegiance get in the way of critical thinking.

Well Bingo is very big. Almost every church, community club and coffeehouse has bingo, sometime twice a week. Maybe the most amount of gambling going on in the US next to NFL and college football. Serious gamblers though...don't like the odds.

I think one thing I can agree to is, Bernie may become a very worldwide well loved President ha! I can't imagine anybody hating him, his such a nice guy and the fundamental of what he believes is, the whole robbing the rich to feed the poor. Very Robin hood! Very mass appealing. If Trump was President, it would be back to Dubya stage, where America has the most hated President. But possibly also be prosperous years for US like during Dubya times. I come from an angle of, making a country rich is a good idea and Trump is the only one saying that and I want a President who can make my country and it's people rich, so that's what sells me. I'm chinese after all, we're culturally all about the money and more materialistic generally as a race. Bernie does not seem to have concerns about the deficit, but very focus on how to get more taxes to get more money to help the needy. Which is good and idealistic.

Really? When Eisenhower had a 91% tax on the top bracket, unemployment and inflation were both extremely low. Bernie has already said he wouldn't go nearly that high.

I am far from adept at macro-economics but I suspect those indicators had much more to do with the post WWII boom in spite of that policy...
