Most people can't even get the house without a mortgage. And then, with 30 years being the standard now, many are not paid off even when sold.

There are a couple other ways to do it, but the bottom line is that we got what, you, me and RO who even know about these things ?

Shit, people don't even know their rights in court if charged with a crime. They have no clue how even the civil court works. With all the statutes and codes, the commoner has given up on even trying to understand law and that is much to the delight of lawyers, and even moreso the government. And actually the banks, which actually do defraud people these days. Like telling people they do not quality for a refi unless they are in arrears and they actually tell people to stop making their payments. And then get quiet foreclosures in courts set up in tents down in Florida. Of course people should have recourse if they know how to use it, but the house is already gone.

This is enough hijack. Once you got the house, defend it with a gun.

In all fairness, some republicans say some pretty stupid shit. If I had any sayso I would eject them from the party. Also anyone who took bribes from defense contractors, AIPAC, Monsanto, oil companies and a bunch of others. In fact I guess all of them. Start with a clean slate.

Hiding people isn't something I like to do. Sometimes even Thompson comes up with something noteworthy. If certain posters get annoying I just ignor them but that's me, though good for you on hiding Thompson.

As for your trivial insults, "lack of couth and intelligence" in this instance, I've seen you do so much better than that in the past formulating your arguments and trying to back it up with your lnks and research that make it more difficult and thought provoking to argue with your opinions.

Also, referring to post #385, liberals play the Snotzi card on conservatives far more often than the reverse. The same goes for the fascist card.

that's absolutely laughable...and you use the word "lying" to describe others?

apparently you cant tell the difference between people speaking in general terms, which is more or less required in conversation, and assumed (one would think), otherwise everyone would have to be speaking in caveats all the time, and making a direct statement like "all liberals are Nazis?"

generally speaking---Nazism was a leftist political ideology; ive said so and ive supported my argument with objective terminology (that doesn't even come close to saying all liberals are Nazis). generally speaking, the left is pro-islam (and anti Christian); ive said so, but so what? that's an insult or a criticism? generally speaking communism and liberalism are kissing cousins; ive operated under that premise and again, have shown the relation between the two. the content of my posts, wherein I criticize lefties, are of that nature.

as ive said before, not that im the least bit interested in having conversations with you, but you absolutely cannot go back and find anything where ive said what you just said I have. go ahead and post them all and I trust everyone else looking at them will pretty much say the same things in judging them in light of what I said above.

that said---its also laughable to compare liberals calling conservatives racists, sexists, etc to conservatives calling liberals communists, etc.

conservative ideology is neither racist or sexist, or any of the other things you lefties say, that is, unless you redefine the words to mean something other than they were originally designed to mean. you (for clarity, since you struggle with that, I don't mean "you" specifically, I mean the left in general), call people those things to shame them and shut them up.

by contrast, when a conservative calls a leftist a communist, or identifies their pro-Islamic positions, he is observing something consistent with leftism, your very end game (and again i'll point out, which is ironic in the case of islam).

last thing---and I think lovmuffin and desi touched pretty well on this---if you don't notice that that's a tactic of the left, and they use it quite frequently (and often as a default position) then you haven't been paying a lick of attention to your comrades. neither lovmuffin, nor me, were whining. we were sarcastically marking your methods and proudly wearing your false monikers.

Everyone is taught to aim at center mass because it's the largest target; hitting a leg, especially while in motion, is exceedingly difficult. Everyone is also taught to shoot in order to "stop the threat", not necessarily maim or injure. Center mass happens to house the central nervous system; disabling that would nearly immediately stop the threat. Furthermore, the femoral artery is in the leg, thus shooting "in the leg" to "not fucking kill them" could do exactly that.

I can guarantee you if you are shot in the foot you are no longer a threat.
In the movies people with multiple bullet holes in them continue to motivate like a quarterback moving downfield...but that is the movies where "it is just a flesh wound" is cliche.

How close would you say the femoral artery is to your foot?
