It looks like the Republican party is down to 4 real possibilities. Who are they gonna pick? 1. Jeb Bush "I know I'm the third in my family to run for prez but I'm really an outsider."[8\|] 2. Ted Cruz "I was born in Canada and my dad was a Commie." 3. Marco Rubio "I'm an 'anchor baby' who is gonna be hard on drugs even though my brother-in-law was a Cocaine kingpin" 4. Donald Trump "I'm a fucking megalomaniac with fucking Tourettes and if you don't like it, fuck YOU" Why oh why oh why cant they come up with someone worth a shit to lead this country out of the wilderness?[X(]

Good people with brains do not want the frustration... there is NO candidate in either party that is "Good" or has "Brains" and is worthy of our votes... We are an embarrassment and a danger to the civilized world... I just hope we get through the next 5 years or so without killing thousands of our children. Butch

("they" being the corporations that own our so called representatives)

He was no anchor baby.. just sayin'.. and what is wrong with Cruz being born in Canada? Did he somehow have a choice in that?? Were he was born doesnt in any way mean he isnt an American (according to your laws), and he renounced his Canadian citizenship (which was stupid of him but whatever).. What more do ya want???

Rubio is too lazy to even work as a Senator now. Can't even handle dual duties of running Presidential campaign and his senator job concurrently, but his still living off tax payers money. To me, this is terrible time management skills for a future President. Ted Cruz weird release of that whole video with his family in it, freak me out a little about him. Jeb has shown his vulnerabilities. He can't even stand against Trump. How is he gonna defeat ISIS for us? Trump to me is the man who backs down from nothing, braves ridicule and constantly go out and face Lib Media, who speaks his mind, has no filter, has no diplomacy, but genuinely wants the best for his country. His raw, his unscripted, his genuine and real. But guess what? Unscripted means, alot of things that shouldn't be said aloud to the media, gets said all the time! But I suspect it's rigged and even if Trump get majority vote, he won't get nomination because the Republican Party don't believe he can win Liberal votes. To me, none of the candidates can win Liberal votes, so why bother? Just field Trump, he was a Lib all his life before he turn Cons, I'd give him a chance to work on the Libs later after nomination.

One thing I suspect is that they do not want the Presidency. Out in the forefront they put people who think Women can't get pregnant from a legitimate rape, that all the fossil fuel we burn cools the planet down and the Earth is 6,000 years old. But I think that behind the scenes there are a few of them who understand math. This is something you'll never get with a liberal. These smart republicans who remain behind the scenes want a democrat to preside over the impending economic collapse. Such a sequence of events will allow them to blame someone else, even though they waste more money than anyone else. The perception is that the democrats are the wild spenders. So when TSHTF, people will naturally blame democrats. One of the best strategies is to get your opponent to underestimate you. T^T

Rand Paul again, actually made sense on this issue. He said both Rep and Dems are responsible for the deficit because what's happening now, is Reps wants more money for war, Dems wants more money for welfare. Reps compromise with Dems to give them more money for welfare, so that Dems will compromise back and give them more money for war. This is in regards to how the voting works in Congress. In the end, both parties get what both parties want, more money gets spent, super deficit happens. US debt deepens.

I'm 55, an 18 year old is a kid to me. Bottom line is if Sanders does not get nominated there is simply no sense in voting. Or maybe Rand Paul but his chances are slim and none and slim left town. T^T

They created the grand majority of these problems. The remainder of problems were created with them in mind for failing. They are a party that lacks a single, decent virtue. From lying to violating the US Constitution, they have shown Americans time and again, they can not be trusted with power. The four candidates should show to Americans the only redeeming quality of the GOP: Examples of what....NOT...to have in public office! Worst still is that many political observers are believing this year will mark the first time that immigrants have an impact on the voting process. Since Texas has been floated as possibly turning blue for the White House race. The Republican Party has been hating on every single minority group in America; while at the same time cultivating hatred, racism, and intolerance. Their platform is the same garbage that lost them the elections in 2008 and 2012. America changed, they haven't. For any of them to be electable, they have to show they can be 'middle of the road'. Which will be impossible since the GOP nomination requires someone to be the most 'conservative of all conservatives'. One has to go so far into 'extremist conservative viewpoints' as to render them unable to find a compromise with anyone else in the nation. While some conservatives do not like Hillary or Bernie, they believe they could make deals along the way with either administration. There is no liberal or moderate in the nation that believe there could be a deal with any of the four candidates you mentioned. You like political gridlock at the federal level? Vote Republican! For the past year, the Republican controlled Congress has shown America what 'Republicans can do with power'; which is to say 'they barely passed a budget bill'. This is a group of individuals that have the lime light and can not solve any of the problems the nation is currently facing. Those libertarians should be happen, since Republicans are 'Do Nothing' in Congress and giving them that 'limited government' they so deeply desire. For the rest of Americans, we can see that Republicans in Congress are about as useful to us as electing ISIS to run the nation! Bottom line: The nation, if it votes in numbers, will vote for Democrats. If we see the same decline in voters as the mid-term elections and the general elections before, there is a possibility that Republicans hold some purple states. But as far as things go, more Americans are unhappy with a government that can not accomplish anything they want. Most of this brought on by Republicans (whom are getting fairly blamed). It will be fun to watch who the Republicans nominate to their ticket. I think you pegged the four wannabes quite nicely. I have standards that prevent me from voting for any of the Republicans.
