How much bdsm is legal when payed for? I know prostitution is illegal in californi where i live but if you pay a mistress is that illegal? Thanks

BDSM isn't legal even if you're not paying for it. The state of California has the view that you cannot consent to assault. So, even though most law enforcement agencies choose not to pursue criminal charges against BDSM practitioners, it is still illegal.

Since BDSM is bondage, discipline, sado-masochism - where do you think you're asking about falls into that designation? (I suppose it might fall under masochism, since it's humiliation, but I doubt the authorities care if you feel humilited.)

Really, what you're talking about is a role playing session. Any sexual contact would be illegal. Ass worship would be sexual contact, etc.

Within the context of bdsm and the law, consent does not exist. So ask yourself if the action is legal without consent. Is chaining someone up and beating the hell out of them without their consent legal? No. So a consensual bdsm defense would be invalid. Is foot worship legal without consent? Forget bdsm and look at the actions as isolated events. Could you do that in a vanilla situation and it be okay?

AS long as you are dressed and she is dressed and no sexual contact takes place, they possibly couldn't care less, they usually only prosecute if there are complains. if you go to any dungeon and you ask for foot worship or a spanking or whipping, I highly doubt the cops would lurk behind the door to arrest you, however if they are in a residential area and there is a lot of traffic and people complain, it's a different matter

Practically none because of the exchange of money in a sexual context.

Strip clubs avoid this because (they claim) there is no touching of the dancers. That's supposedly the line.

Unless somebody's got a hard on for it to bust someone, something like foot worship isn't going to be a big deal. Ass worship is a different case, entirely. Hand, foreign object, mouth, or genital to genital contact and you might as well hang it up. Read the penal code.

Laws vary by state and local government. So you will need to do your duty to see what is exactly legal or illegal where you want to play. Any type of sex will be illegal. This includes touching any genitalia.

If the person has a well established dungeon that has been operating for several years, chances are that they are doing nothing illegal and/or they are in a gray area and local LE does not want to waste the time/energy as they have bigger fish to fry.
