Well it is a leap year and folks make resolutions they'll mostly fail to implement. So what lifestyle matters do you want to aspire to achieve during its seasons transitions?

I'm hoping to be able to stand up and walk without any mechanical aids by June. Probably no leaping until late summer.

May one wish you success in the progress of that goal and it's achievement.

Good luck, good lady!

My version of that is breathing unassisted. I'm sick to death of tanks and tubes.

I intend to what a lot of what I've been doing:

1. Continue to grow my business.
2. Teach more out-of-state.
3. Continue exercising and eating well (for life).
4. Grow in new ways with my Pet (we keep finding new things to explore).
5. Inspire and connect with people all around the world.

@DesFIP and dcnovice, I wish you both the best in accomplishing your goals!

I am going to get on with my 'students cookbook' giving recipes that are cheap, tasty, easy to prepare and contain an little more goodness than instant noodles.

Have you seen "A man, a can, a plan" cookbook? I remember it from a Scholastic book fair and it seemed aimed for college kids.

Beyond that, I gave the stepson a list of easy egg recipes when he got an apartment senior year. Omelets, frittatas, quiches. Easy to prepare and relatively cheap protein,

No, I don't know it and most of the 'çheap and easy' books I have stumbled over are cheap, easy and the dishes taste like they have already been eaten once. I have got a number of recipes sorted and now beginning on the foreign ( Indian, Chinese, French, German etc)..................I can make you a curry that tastes incredible and it takes less than 5 minutes and you can use any kind of meat, fish, seafood or vegetables. That sort of thing. Omellettes are great because they take about a minute to cook and you can fill them with anything at all; even jam or syrup to make them a dessert.

One thing I've recommended (with ravingly good reports back) to parents of college students is to give them an induction burner (I have a Nuw-Wave PIC) for their dorm room. NO flame or source of heat, aside from magnetic, so it's allowed in many places that ban other kinds of burners, while still cooking as well (or better).
