To the elves that are rearranging things-

Would you please consider moving politics away from Community Discussions?

LadyPact -> RE: Suggestion Box: (1/3/2016 8:16:15 AM)

Have to say, I'm agreeing with you on that one. Not just because I'm not big on change in forum categories. That one click away from General is probably going to have some mishaps. I just think it's bound to happen by mistake.

Perv to Perv Assistance is a good one and I like it but I would have thought it would have went to Off Topic/Casual Banter section. That's where all of the help type of threads went before, so I would have thought that would make more sense. Not sure that one is a big deal because, like I said, I do think that's an improvement.

Changing Off Topic to Off the Grid. Don't care. Wasn't like when they switch Polls and Random Stupidity to whatever it was there for a while. People still called it Polls and Random Stupidity anyway and I think folks were glad when they switched it back.

Maybe New Mod will enlighten us.

I can't help but wonder if any of this really matters. Of all the work the forums need, shuffling them into different sections seems to be more than a bit pointless. The phrase "rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic" springs to mind.

Lucylastic -> RE: Suggestion Box: (1/3/2016 11:54:49 AM)

Please take politics and religion back down to the basement, where it belongs.

Women and children first.....

I don't mind playing the music while the rest of you scramble over one another to get to the lifeboats.....

Anyone wanting to join me......we're playing....Eileen Barton "if I'd knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake".

OK. That was funny.

Am I the only one who thinks spending some time obliterating the socks would do more to improve the forum than this random rearranging of categories will?

freedomdwarf1 -> RE: Suggestion Box: (1/3/2016 1:09:29 PM)

Yep... Seconded!! [8D]

This is entirely off topic but...oh well. :D

Lucylastic, when I read your comment a memory came back to me of a place that far preceded Collarme/Collarchat/Collarspace. It was a chat board of sorts called Bianca's Smit Shack. There were various "rooms" and each had a particular function. For example, the library was for more intellectual conversation and not much sex. The bathroom, if I recall, seemed to cater to lesbian type sexual chat. Or maybe it was the hall closet. Hmmm...my memory on it is fuzzy. But I DO recall the basement. It was where BDSM dialogue took place. Soooo...putting P&R into the basement sort of sullies my memories of the place. *sighs*

But I do agree with the general suggestion here of taking the P&R type forum out of the "community" discussions. Where it is now strikes me as puzzling given that it doesn't seem related.

And I'd like my descriptor back please. :) It seems to be a silly thing, but I miss seeing them.

I agree but it doesn't have to be an either or proposition does it? I agree the priority would be those who are creating profiles ad nauseum. But I still want the other stuff too. *iz greedy* ;)

Which reminds me...has anyone else noticed the occasional post from members whose join date is (mostly) from the early 2000's and their post numbers are rather small? It struck me as odd.

Lucylastic -> RE: Suggestion Box: (1/3/2016 1:25:59 PM)

ok a personal couple
1)Put up a sign telling people what is wrong with the site, if its being worked on.
A sticky on one of the forums is simple enough. Even on the entry into the forum.
For us freeloading regulars its the not knowing that is so damned frustrating.
2. Shut the damn place down for however long it takes to get the forum software modified, even with the database its a damn sight easier to do when no one is trying to post.
3. I know nothing about the otherside or the running of it, but it would seem the media demands are too much with vid rooms and audio . so no comments on the otherside.
4. Ask your posters here if they would be willing to do a fundraiser for the bloody software to shut down the bloody socks.
I would be willing to donate a couple or more corsets or toys to raise funds for the project. Im sure we have other posters here who would be willing to offer up items to choke the scummy suck poppets..
Im not going to blame mods or admin, tho gawd knows we have had some doozies, but ....if the owner isnt interested then we are on the titanic.
Personally tho, I wont leave until its down on the bottom wid da fishes. Dammit I like the people here.

I remember the smut shack:)
few years ago now huh, lol

I liked it when they first moved P&R into a section separate from the Off Topic fora.

DeviantlyD -> RE: Suggestion Box: (1/3/2016 2:22:31 PM)

@Lucylastic: Yup, a few indeed! I guess I'm dating myself. ;)

Perhaps the "Politics and Religion" section could be reinstated. And the forum renamed "bottom feeder discussions". :P
I jest, of course. It's just that it is so exhausting to see the same arguments over and over. :(

If you are talking about me......I am simply not a prolific poster......sometimes I prefer to just follow the threads....and sometimes I'd rather keep my opinions to myself....
