Snark aside, we currently have one very determined individual who is really big on creating sock puppet accounts. They aren't terribly hard to spot if you know the person's MO. Most of the long term posters know who he is and what his screen name was years ago.

Trolls are real posters. There used to be a group of women on here that made the forums unbearable. They would troll the posts and give posters a hard time. They are still here, but they are a lot more mellow.

LOL Its not us that has gotten mellow. Its that you haven't posted anything patently offensive in a while.

I don't snark unless I am provoked. If I am, I snark. Get used to it. When people are being reasonable, I can be sweetness and light personafied.

But the trolls? I just ignore them now. They aren't worth my time.

I will have to say that even though you have provoked my snark some, you are not one of these gutless trolls. BTW, I did ask some sincere questions on your last thread. I was truly interested in the answers and helping with how the situation might have seem perceived, though apparently you perceive even that as giving you a hard time.

... I see there are fewer of them. Much fewer. So it is not as amusing but I can live with that. It seems many have been collared and reined in or many were just socks. Either correction seems acceptable to me.

Depends on how you define them.

But it is mainly the same one to answer your question and most people get a little paranoid over new profiles. I find myself mulling over profiles on this thread, and others galore.
