For those of you lucky enough to own John Warren's excellent book, The Loving Dominant, (you're welcome, John) you may have noticed in the section on spreader bars his suggestion to attach a second bar to the center of an ankle spreader, at a right angle, and top it with a dildo or vibrator.

Somewhere, I forget where, I read a Dom's account of finding a discarded hospital cane -- the adjustable kind with a spring-loaded pin -- and using it as an adjustable center bar. Well, I've found another interesting option.
I was in the shower yesterday, when my gaze fell upon the shower curtain bar. It's a piston-style affair, with some sort of spring inside providing the tension that makes it grip the walls firmly. Such a bar, I think, would make an excellent alternative. Not only is it adustable, it continually presses the attached dildo/vibrator firmly into the subject.
