Aneirin -> Glossary of Terms (7/19/2006 8:59:13 AM)

Just reading anothers post on here regarding the meaning of some of the terms used within these forums. There are a lot of new people here, and some older ones who don't know some of the terminology used, would it be a good idea for this site to offer a BDSM dictionary or glossary of terms?Perhaps it could be updated when new terms come available, what does everyone else think?

There are already more glossaries/dictionaries out there than you can shake a crop at, why duplicate their creators' efforts?  Besides, Google works just fine.

Seek and ye shall find...

Lifestyle glossary and various online abbreviations

Not to mention there's always the Deviant's Dictionary...and google as already mentioned.

Dictionaries are descriptive, not prescriptive.  If having a dictionary solved our communication and comprehension problems, we'd have had them solved a long time ago.

According to some (Okay, just one, actually), Oxford English Dictionary is apparently the only reliable reference source for terminology.  I am told online sources are limited......but easy.  :)
