Oh poppycock. 3 million people have an oil endowment of almost a trillion euros. Protected by nato and buffered by an oil economy you can't really credit their economic success to their economic policies., any more than you can credit the house of saud for theirs.

Actual countries that have done it are Iceland and Hungary. Iceland went so far as to put some bankers and politicians in prison, and I think Hungary threw a couple in after being overheard how they fucked the government. A few years ago IIRC they used a bailout or loan from the government to buy their own stock and make it seem like the place was in good shape, of course to attract investors to get fleeced. That wouldn't happen in the US, quantitative easing takes care of that on the fast track. Also note that the US has oil as well as a bunch of natural resources, but we never see a fucking dime of that money. T^T

We should sit on our oil as a long term negotiating tool so OPAC can't flex muscle, instead we give it to foreign companies to pay taxes on it in other countries

We have how much timber on the lands of our citizenry? We have how many deadbeat ranchers who havent paid rent on the lands of our citizenry? We have how many nutsuckers that are corporate catamites to the detriment of our citizenry? Ad Nauseam.
