It was texting. For a minute or so, we were on Kik, halftime just started, dog came by played for a few with the dog came back to phone, and right away, first thing she says is, "I never pegged you to like black woman", I was like huh what are you talking about. Meanwhile I wasn't even watching the show, she then said I was watching the show a drooling over Beyoncé, that's why I didn't respond in a timely fashion, I explained and she just went off

I do it too Kaliko, my office is in the basement hubby is upstairs, i use hangouts with him...
I was merely checking that wasnt the case..

OP, sounds like you might have got a red flag warning.
I think she might have too.
Jealousy is a pain in the arse, but this sounds like immaturity.
Do you have any structure to your relationship?
If she is yoour baby girl and you are "daddy"?
Is it jealousy or being a brat?
You need to have a serious talk with her...or not

So yeah.... I think disappearing mid sext session might come over as rude.

That said... if she flipped because she thought you were watching Beyoncé I would regard that as something of a red flag.

If she makes a habit of flipping, then it then becomes a question of whether all the other goodness is worth it.

I mean... if she were Beyoncé, I'd put up with a fair bit.....

Needless to say, I don't think there's much to be gained by "Listen honey, I am not prepared to put up with this hysterical shit.... you're no Beyoncé, now are you?"

Levity aside, over sensitivity and "flipping out" at small things are shit that, on the whole, I won't put up with for very long. But... it's up to you to decide whether the whole package makes the odd flip out worth the price.
