ORIGINAL: ThatDizzyChick One word: Mosquitos I've been face to face with a bear, mountain lions, coyotes and rattle snakes. Have pet a pregnant wild raccoon, and a picked up a possum (who was playing death, which I didn't know they do). I've found a black widow in my bed, and hobo spiders in the basement (not to mention about the 10 million black widows our lot has from being vacant for years). All without any issue or getting hurt. But the MOSQUITOS!!!!! They're the bane of my existence. Apparently I'm allergic to North American mosquitos. I get the bites to swell up the size of a chicken egg, and they stick around for a month, causing a rash that's like having a hundred normal mosquito bites all at once, and a localized 'fever'. On top of that I'm the blood type they like the best, so even if I'm out with 10 other people, I'm the only one getting bit. I can't go out at all during dusk or dawn, even with protection, and outside of those hours only with it.
