hello everyone ,,,, do you tell your slaves when they will be punished how they will be punished and why they are being punished ..... do you give them time to prepare or simply start punishing whenever you want

Punishment without them knowing what they are being punished for seems a bit useless. However, they do not always get time to prepare or know in advance what the punishment will be. They will, however, know WHY they are being punished. The who, when, what, where and how are all determined by me at my discretion. The why was completely controlled by the submissive.

Well...I start the punishment when I choose to. I also choose to make them aware of the mis-behavior and reason for the punishment. I do not see these as separate questions. ***edited for typo

Personally, I believe allowing the sub to know they're going to be punished beforehand allows them to agonize over what's going to happen, which adds to the whole punishment process.

I let my boy know when he's done something and what his punishment will be. We always discuss what he did wrong and how he get avoid doing it the next time. Then I tell him what his punishement will be and administer it as I wish and for how long I wish too. ~Lashra

When practical, I prefer to administer the punishment immediately when the offending behavior occurs. However, that doesn't always work, as I may be on My way out the door to go to work, or the misbehavior may take place in a public setting. When this occurs, I let the submissive know that I am very displeased, and that I will "deal with him" later. A submissive soon learns that when I use those words, he can expect to be punished. If I cannot administer the punishment immediately, I will do it as soon as I can, so the sub generally has a good idea of when the punishment will occur. For example, if I am on the way out the door to work, the sub can reasonably expect that he will be punished when I return. If in a vanilla setting, most likely he will be punished right after W/we get home. No, I don't necessarily tell a sub in advance exactly how he will be punished, but I feel the punishment should fit the crime. For minor infractions, the punishment will be light. If punishment's goal is to change behavior or attitude then there must be a reason given and a clear means of correction and instruction. Otherwise its just randomness and I don't personally think that works very well in any relationship. As for when to punish, on the rare times when I've needed to punish I immediately let the slave/sub know what they've done is wrong and that it will now be addressed. If I am feeling any anger, I send them to their waiting spot in my house and I go to calm down and consider. When I'm calm, I re-explain the problem, describe how they are going to correct it, and then we do that until I feel that the task/attitiude is more inline with what I find acceptable. However a master-slave couple I know who have been together for 11 years now sets aside time each week to deal with any necessary punishments. They keep a log of problems. Talking to the master, he thinks it works very well. Talking to the slave, he seems to think it is rather lame. Apparently not lame enough to change things though but this might explain why even after 11 years they have to do regular punishments. You have to know what works best for both people to get the maximum benefits from any punishment, discipline or training.

I also let Mine know if they are going to be punished. I also make them tell Me what they did wrong and I want to know why. A "i dont know answer" gets a whack...not just a whack butt a hard one,I tell them its going to be hard...when they clench those butt cheeks I whack much harder than if they relax and take it. I have a no touch rule and a few have accidently rubbed up against Me,accidently My ass,That gets a whack without warning,as I say how dare you touch Me. When I am feeling really mean I use My favorite number 6 for the whacks they get when being punished.

Inattentiveness and unresponsiveness are the only misdeeds I punish for. After all, I'm dealing with a submissive man here. Every once in awhile a fella needs a teensy little reminder that he has to shape up. Here's one lighthearted example: I sent My boy several pages to which he never responded. During our next session I shaved his armpits. That's all. Shaved his armpits. Bound his arms over his head, applied some shaving cream, and wiped his armpits clean with a brand new razor. While I was shaving (noticing his grimace in the bathroom mirror), I asked: "Why am I shaving your armpits, boy?" Typical male. "I don't know, Ma'am", came the reply, with a quizzical expression on his face. "I am shaving your armpits because as the hair grows out and itches you a thousand times a day, I want you to repeat a phrase. Now, repeat after Me, 10 times: 'I WILL answer Ma'ams page. I WILL answer Ma'am's page. I WILL answer...." I could see the lightbulb go off in his head. He repeated the phrase 'I WILL answer Ma'ams page' as often as I instructed him to that day. I believe he had to repeat it approximately 3,865 times. Over the next few days I phoned him at the office repeatedly and asked him how comfortable he was. To which he always replied: "I WILL Answer Ma'am's Page!" No, I didn't warn him, I didn't gripe about the unanswered pages. I simply corrected him. He hasn't missed a page since. TexasMaam
