Well in infamous capitalist-speak, there is no more 'monetizing' (making any fucking money off) Twitter. So yes, TWTR has had its fling. Went public st $26, when the dust settled, it was $38. The the real public (online) in their rush to cash in bought it up and in one month kinkroids, went to $74.

Then yep, you may have guessed, what goes up that fast, comes down about as equally as fast and the 52 week high going back'ward' was $50something and sure enough now...below its offering price at $15 and change. The principals and venture guys made their millions or maybe billions and got the fuck out.

So now, the principals and venture caps...don't give a fuck.

Status: offline 		As patriarchy theory is considered as a system in feminist terms, I think the feminist narrative is very much a "system" on it's own...which implies a set of standards when it comes to gender discussion or else it must be wrong or censored. Using feminist logic, it would be fair to say the feminist system of things is "matriarchy".

The point is, when in comes to gender discussion in a social and PC point of view, if a male is being politically incorrect, it somehow means what Epiphiny and MrRodgers said. To put it more clearly, under "matriarchy" (using feminist logic) an opinion in support of men is less worthy than an opinion in support of women.

You have got it right first time epiphany! No need to delve any further into the very long list of nicki's hates and bete noirs. You won't discover anything new, and run the very real risk of becoming depressed when you realise that there still are unrepentant Neanderthals out there, all of whom (are you listening nicki?) are rather angry (and some of whom are literate!). In fairness I should add that the more advanced Neanderthals have succeeded in mastering how to breath through their noses.

Everyone knows why they're angry and how to solve their problems too. That is, everyone, bar the Neanderthals themselves, who, unsurprisingly, are too dumb to figure it out.

I know it's possible that people might regard you as a stupid turd because of your beliefs.

I can certainly tell you that, as a hetero, white, middle class, male, I don't feel in the least bit threatened by feminism. I'm not a feminist because I want to be "hip with the sisterhood", I'm a feminist because I want the best possible outcome for society, I want to work with the best people, and I want to compete on equal terms with people regardless of their sexual identity, color or sexuality.

I know that some men feel terribly threatened, they're the people I tend not to befriend, they're the losers that cling desperately to the crumbling remains of patriarchy because without it they would be fuck all.

You sound like one of these losers RM, you sound as if you just don't feel as if you can cope. And I do feel a little sorry for you. To be so weak, to feel so disempowered, it must be humiliating.

But, you know, I bet if you dig deep, you might be able to find something of worth in yourself, something that you can use to build up your self respect.

In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy the benefits of a more equal society, the privilege of working with the brilliant and talented women I have in my team, and a future in which the tired old presumptions that the patriarchy depended on are gradually eroded away. In fact... fuck it! I'll continue to work to make sure it happens.
