Recently found myself discussing the merits or lack there of (depending on your view) of removing body hair, just wondering, sort of like an informal poll. Do Dominant women prefer hairless, or unshaven (from the neck down or just pubic hair) if so, why? I have a theory myself.

personally I dislike the constant bitching when a hair (pube or body) gets caught in a restraint or a clamp, or a ring, shaving is easier than plucking..but i dont care if your a hair backed gorilla or a smooth n shiny. If it catches, its gone. Or not.

more specifically the rational for shaving vs. not shaving. Is it symbolic? if so what does it symbolize etc.? I traditionally thought it was all but absolutely necessary for a slave to have at least hairless genitals, but have been made aware recently of contrasting views on the subject. Any opinions on the subject are welcome.

indeed, i looked at it from a practical standpoint as well, but I think there is an implied humiliation. But I could be wrong, it may just have been how i was introduced to it.

i keep my shaft and sack smooth i use a epilator as it lasts longer. this is for personal prefrence myself. like said above burnt hair during fire play sucks and having hair in the wax makes removal difficult.

You now, during my tenure here there's a really clear divide between women who like hair and women who don't. I would shave it though, just to be sure. If Mistress would like her slave's hair to grow, then she will inform you. It's better to not look slovenly and err on the side of caution.

This is not my own personal preference, but a lot of Dominant women prefer hairless pubes around genitals and anal area.
Let me rephrase. No pubic hair creeps me out. I'm not looking to fuck Peter Pan. I tend to go for the more natural look, with a guy who is not very hairy on his body, but who has a nice, full head of hair.

Then there are practical considerations for hairlessness, but I can't stand stubble unless it's beard stubble. Shaven hairs end up growing back thick & coarse -- I much prefer they get waxed or plucked.

i personally would love to go hairless from the neck down, but i fear the implications (peter pan). given the option i would have a Domme decide for me as you suggest, after all, it does grow back. but generally i just shave or nair, the genital area. as You can see by my profile pic i'm a moderately hairy, and it would take at least one other person to do a good job with waxing, although there isn't much I can't reach, it is still given the nature of trying to be aesthetically pleasing hard to make the commitment, not knowing what might be appreciated.

What you will attract instead are dudes. Guys. Other men. Pre-op Trans, in some cases. Pros. Men pretending to be Pro-Dommes and FinDommes, with a sprinkling of actual BDSM providers.

Do a search on Collarchat threads about profile pics, dickpics, etc., even shirtless photos for crying out loud (some women here don't like those either, although shirtless doesn't bother me), and read the comments to get a better idea what kinds of photos women prefer.

With all due respect, at least my picture is of me. I send proper picture to anyone who requests them. I have been out of the scene, as it were, for a number of years, and yes I have heard others demonstrate a similar sentiment, and believe me I understand it, but I like You likely have a reason for not posting facial pictures. I choose not to attempt to express myself by demonstrating my attitudes towards things, or myself through the appropriation of internet images, and projects that might have evolved through some sort of experiment in artistic personal growth.

What is kind of funny, is that I was actually thinking earlier, after suggesting looking at my profile, that I would post a thread attempting to crowd source, or brainstorm an appropriate profile. I know you can't please everybody all of the time, but I thought it might help me understand what the expectations are with respect to people on here. Back when I was in the real world scene, you just had to be you; on here it is as though folks demand you be something else. I'm just not used to that. thanks though for the critique, I will see what I can come up with that both represents me in a fashion I am comfortable with, and caters to the chattering classes of this virtual BDSM community.

I have never once, not once, criticized someone for how they want to present themselves. In real life or online; but I am not so naive as to believe others are of the do onto others type. Someone else who might be more knowledgeable about which kinds of pics violate TOS and which don't is welcome to clarify, since I don't really bother with going around reporting profile pics. Yes, I know, there are gaping arses and women exposing their girlie bits. The site is so short-staffed that they depend upon the reports of other users, and really can't keep up with those either.
