I personally dont enjoy punishment.  I dont even really see so much a need for it.  I think most problems can be talked out, as most submissives want to please anyway, and would most likely correct the problem so as not to disappoint.
But thats just *me*. 

For some, punishment can be part of play.  For others its not.  Theres just so much ambiguity and personal interpretation involved in the whole Ds dynamic.  I find it impossible to nail down any one way or one definition that everyone should adhere to.

In my opinion, the most important personal goal for a person should be to come to terms with what it all means to "them" in particualar, and their partner of course. Thats the only *real* truth.  

I love a good caning too.   But I dont need to view it as a punishment.  I can just admit to myself that I crave it and need it.  But some like to view it and process it as punishment.  Is either right or wrong?

It has NOTHING to do with a 'perfect' subbie... it has to do with WORDS. 
 
Play is for enjoying...Punishment is not; or it's just NOT punishment, now is it?
 
One can, however, play at punishing...a common theme.  What's wrong with that?

Status: offline 		maysubgirl, you claim you are owned by seven dominants.  Are one (some...all?) directing you to ask these questions?  If you are asking for yourself, is there a reason you are not communicating with your doms?  How long have you been involved?  I must admit the quantity and quality of alll the questions asked today are strange.  If you have no experience, like some of your questions suggest, do you really think it wise to get involved with 7 dominanats who don't know about the other?  It seems a bit risky if you are for real...and if not...hope you're having fun.

owned by 7 Dominants,   i must have missed that post,  i have never heard of someone serving 7,  perhaps subgirl is not in perth but in a middle eastern country and in a reverse harem?

generally i give much leway to those posting online as there is a huge curve in how to commumicate via words vs in person,  however julia take a gander and the number of posts, the weird questions that have been posted.  Nevermind the really off the wall statements that have been made.

Status: offline 		Whoa people, we're getting way too tied up in semantics (maybe this is a group that is pre-disposed to getting tied up too much anyway).  :)   Let's forget about analyzing the OP and have some fun with the question, liberally interpreted (after all, "corporal punishment" is a form of D/s "play," right?).

So, recast as a question of what type of "punishment play" (is that a new term?) do you enjoy being the receipient of, let's hear some answers.

Mine is probably probably certain forms of CBT-- clips, clamps, weights, finger nails, etc.  It can hurt like the dickens (pun intended), but when done correctly it's that incredible erotic pain where your endorphins are firing and the boundary between pleasure and pain is nearly indistinguishable.
